Nike Junior Golf Camps
Get ready for an amazing experience in Columbus, Ohio! Join Nike Camp Director and PGA Professional, Gerry Hammond, and his professional staff this summer at The Golf Depot. Gerry Hammond will be involved in overseeing all camps, while his experienced staff handles day-to-day operations. Campers will receive top-quality instruction from a dedicated team, so come and see why thousands of campers have attended this junior golf program. FULL DAY CAMPS
These camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Under the watchful eye of the staff, campers practice all aspects of their games for three hours each morning. Putting, chipping, bunker play and full-swing are all addressed throughout the week. Morning instruction is followed by lunch and afternoon play on The Golf Depot practice holes. The full day camps are open to players of all abilities, ages 9-17. Please note: Lunch is provided for full day campers each day.
Half Day Camps
Our half day programs are designed to create interest and foster development in beginner and intermediate golfers, ages 7-14. The camps run Monday through Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm and include fifteen hours of total range instruction and occasional course play, when available. Strong emphasis is placed on the fundamentals—stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules & etiquette, etc. Please note: Lunch is NOT provided for half day campers each day.

Camp Director Gerry Hammond
Gerry Hammond is one of the teaching professionals for The Golf Depot. He has over 20 years of experience as a golf professional, PGA member and golf instructor. Gerry established the "Players Junior Golf Academy" and the "Adopt-A-Junior Golfer" programs, as venues to expose Columbus area youth to the game of golf.

Camp Details
This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 17 (varies by program). The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels and, upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.

- Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning instruction and afternoon course play (for Full Day campers only)
- Lunch: Lunch is included for Full Day campers each day.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Camper Amenity Package: Campers will receive an amenity package including a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees. Through Nike Junior Golf Camps we do not provide club rentals at this camp. You can reach out to the Pro-Shop at the golf course to see if they have any rentals available for your session of camp. - Facility: The Golf Depot
- Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

- Signed Health & Release forms and waivers (forms completed online do not need to be printed and turned in at camp)
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

The Golf Depot
The Golf Depot is a Public Play, Practice and Learning center. The aim of this facility is to make the game friendlier for new players and less time consuming for current ones. The Hammond Golf Academy offers Instructional programs geared towards players of all skill levels. Perched on a hill that is one of the highest points in Franklin County, the outstanding view of the Columbus skyline is one of the many unique features of the facility.
