Nike Junior Golf Camps
Join experienced Camp Director and LPGA Class A Member, Kim Stevens, for our junior golf camps in San Jose. Located in the hills of the South Bay Area, Boulder Ridge offers Full Day, Half Day and Advanced Camps for players of all skill levels looking to improve their game and have fun.
Fall Weekend Camps
Stay sharp and grow your game during the school year with our schedule of weekend half day camps at Boulder Ridge Golf Club. Students choose six (6) camp dates from an available total of 14 Saturday options (See updated camp calendar at www.svgolfpc.com/calendars). Each day runs from 2:00-5:00 pm and includes practice on all aspects of the game. Campers receive instruction on the driving range and practice area along with on-course play* with the staff.
Summer Full Day Camps
Students in the full day camp enjoy three hours of instruction each morning. The morning session focuses on all facets of the game and prepares the junior player for the challenges of the course. After lunch, it's off to the first tee! During course play our staff teaches strategy, etiquette and course management. The Full Day Camp is designed to create complete golfers and raise their game to the next level. Lunch is included in the price of camp, however campers are welcome to bring their own lunch.
Summer Half Day Camps
This program offers campers of all abilities the opportunity to work on and improve every part of their game. A Half Day camper receives three hours of instruction with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing.
Summer Advanced Player Camps (Ages 8-12)*
Designed for golfers who play competitive/tournament golf or who are looking to start playing competitively. Players receive individualized instruction with a low 6:1 student to teacher ratio. Emphasis is on short game instruction, tournament preparation and advanced shot techniques. Daily course play is designed to elevate players' games to a more competitive level. Note: Participants must have attended one of Kim Stevens’ Full Day Camps previously to be eligible for this advanced camp.
Summer Advanced Player Camps (Ages 12-17)*
Designed for players who play tournament and/or high school golf. Players receive individualized instruction with a low 4:1 student to teacher ratio. Emphasis on: short game instruction, tournament preparation, practice routine, goal setting, mental game, nutrition and personalized workout, course management techniques, current club set review and suggestions, and full swing video instruction (including TrackMan). Daily play to work on course management aimed at lowering scores.
* If you have questions about which Advanced Camp your child belongs in, please contact Kim at email@example.com. If your child does not meet the maturity level or skill level of the majority of the children participating, we can move them to another camp that would suit them best.

Camp Director Kim Stevens
Kim Stevens has been a Nike Golf Camp Director since 2002 and is an LPGA Class A Member. Her programs have become some of the most popular golf camps in the Bay Area.View Kim Stevens's Bio ⟩
Safety and fun are the reasons the camps grow each year. Kim personally trains her staff to ensure the instruction is consistent and purposeful. She has been teaching golf to adults and juniors of all levels for over 15 years and started playing golf herself at the age of four.
Coach Craig Davis
Craig has held his PGA Class “A” membership since March 2013 and is an instructor for our camps at Boulder Ridge.View Craig's Bio ⟩
Craig has been teaching the game of golf since June 2010. He has help hundreds of golfers gain more consistency and confidence through his instruction. These programs have included private golf lessons, golf clinics, on-course management and supervised practice sessions.
Craig loves the completion golf has afforded and he still competes today in Northern California PGA Section Tournaments. Before joining The Golf Club at Boulder Ridge, Craig started as a Junior Golf Instructor at Summitpointe Golf Club under the watchful eye of Director of Instruction, Kim Stevens, LPGA. After two stops at Coyote Creek Golf Club, Craig has been at The Golf Club at Boulder Ridge for 8 years.
Coach Michael Kim

Mike Kim grew up in the Bay Area and began playing golf at age 14. He joined the PGA apprentice program in 2000 while attending San Jose State and working at Santa Clara Golf Course. While working at the course, he began learning about the golf business and eventually started teaching in 2001. He fell in love with it. In 2005, he became a full-time instructor and has been teaching since then. Over the years, Mike has given thousands of lessons and trained with many top Northern California Golf Professionals.
Mike really loves the game and enjoys teaching it to others. His teaching approach is grounded in the fundamentals as he knows they are the foundation to developing a good golf game. He helps each student set and then achieve their golf goals. Although Mike works with all age and skill levels, he has a particular passion around working with junior golfers and has helped many of these kids rise through junior, high school and college golf programs.
These programs are designed for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 17 (varies by program type). The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels, but if your child is brand new to golf, please send an email to Kim Stevens (firstname.lastname@example.org) to let her know. A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered players before camp.
We are happy to offer extended care options at Boulder Ridge (Full Day/Advanced Campers only). Parents can choose extended care for mornings (8am-9am), afternoon (4pm-5pm) or both (AM+PM), for an additional fee. This care is supervision only and does NOT include golf instruction. The fees include care for the entire camp week and cannot be prorated by the day.
The fees are as follows:
- $150 covers either morning OR afternoon for the week.
- $300 covers both morning AND afternoon for the week.
Rental clubs can be purchased for $25 per camp session through Camp Director, Kim Stevens. Please make a note in the comments field when registering online or tell a representative if enrolling over the phone. Clubs of all lengths are available to accommodate all golfers. Clubs will be ready for the kids at the golf course and stored at the facility during the week.

BOULDER RIDGE GOLF CLUB
There’s nothing quite like this 18-hole championship golf course anywhere else in the Bay Area. Spanning more than 300 acres between the Almaden and Blossom Valleys, Boulder Ridge features breathtaking vistas of the entire South Bay. And it offers the perfect balance of fun and challenge for a fantastic day on the greens. Start the day off at the driving range before heading to your tee time. Every player will enjoy this course, with holes that are difficult enough for advanced players and friendly enough for fledglings.
