Join us for a week of FUN, sport and activity at the Nike KIDS Camps at Galvin Community Park in Santa Rosa, CA. This is a multi-sport specific camp that is geared toward building a foundation of techniques and skills that will help campers develop athletically. Campers will work on running, jumping, catching, throwing, kicking, dodging, balancing and playing, through fun practices and games. There will also be fun optional arts and crafts activities led by Coach Kara for campers that want to embrace their creative side!

Director Jessica Crivello
Directing camp this summer is Jess Crivello. Jess brings a wealth of experience as a teacher and a coach. She is currently in her 18th year teaching K-8 physical education at Ross School, in Ross, CA . She is also in charge of the athletics program at Ross School, serving as the Middle School Athletic Director. Jess graduated and received her teaching credential from Sonoma State University, with a Bachelor's in Science for Kinesiology.View Jessica's Bio ⟩
Jess has extensive experience coaching young athletes having volunteered with the Santa Rosa Junior Giants, where she was named the Willie Mac Award Winner as coach of year. She also is the commissioner for the middle school basketball league and co- coordinator for Marin County middle school track and field program. Jess grew up in Snohomish, WA where she was a two-sport athlete in Basketball and Track & Field. She competed at the collegiate level in Track & Field running events in the 800 and 4x400 Mile Relay.
Coach Jay Meyer
Jay graduated from Sonoma State with a B.S. in kinesiology and single subject teaching credential in physical education.View Jay's Bio ⟩
He has spent the past eleven years teaching physical education, working sports camps and coaching at the elementary and secondary level.
Jay loves being physically active and enjoys spending as as much time outdoors as possible. He is excited to share his passion for physical activity with his campers!
Coach Kara Meyer
Kara minored in Education at the University of California Santa Barbara and continued on to to receive her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at the University of California Channel Islands.View Kara's Bio ⟩
She had taught kindergarten, first and second grade before taking a break to stay at home and raise her own children. With over 15 years of teaching experience in preschool, elementary, after-school and childcare programs, it was not easy to step completely away from working with kids. She is currently nannying, tutoring and directing sports camps!
Growing up playing basketball and competitive cheerleading, being active has been a huge part of her life. As her hobbies have shifted to running and rock climbing, she continues to value the power of living an active lifestyle and working in both team and individual settings.
Kara also has a passion for art. She loves providing students with the tools to explore their own creativity while encouraging them to use their imagination whenever possible.

This multi-sport camp is designed for children, ages 5-7, looking to learn the fundamentals and play various sports. These camps are designed to teach and develop campers in all aspects of the game in a socially engaging environment. Campers will work on running, jumping, catching, throwing, kicking, dodging, balancing and playing, through fun practices and games

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Fun Instruction: A focus on developing running, jumping, catching, throwing, kicking, dodging, balancing, and playing
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age
Meals: Meals and snacks are NOT provided. All campers should eat breakfast at home. Campers are advised to bring snacks and plenty of water.
Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
Camp T-shirt & Prizes: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt and prizes
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
Equipment needed: Sneakers, athletic clothes, water bottle, snacks, and sunscreen
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
- Athletic clothing
- Water day clothing (Friday)
- Water bottle
- Small gym bag/backpack
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. please fill out the Group Discount form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Sample Daily Schedule
- Day 1-3 KIDS Sports Camp!
- 9:00 am Campers arrive, introduction, warm up activity
- 9:20-10:15 am Skill based games/drills
- 10:15-10:25 am Water break and optional snack time
- 10:25-10:50 am Introduce/teach a fun game
- 11:25-11:50 am Skill based games/drills
- 11:50 am -12:00pm Cool down/closing circle
- Day 4 Water day/field day activities (please have your child wear clothing that is okay to get wet)
