Come join the Adelphi coaching staff this summer 2022 for a four day lacrosse clinic in Montauk, NY! Campers train each day at Lions Field at the Henry Hank Zebrowski Memorial Park.

At the Nike Lacrosse Clinic in Montauk, the emphasis will be on individual skill development with the goal of helping campers reach a new level of play by providing a positive training environment where you can build confidence and a passion for the game.

Camp Director Pat McCabe

Pat McCabe was announced as the fourth head coach of the women's lacrosse program on Sept. 4, 2014, and enters his ninth season at the helm in 2023. Coach McCabe was recently inducted into the PLL inaugural Professional Lacrosse Hall of Fame Class. McCabe is one of 11 players to make the 2022 Class.

In eight years at the helm, McCabe has guided the Panthers in their championship tradition, adding three NCAA Division II national crowns to the team's resumé while reaching the national championship game in his first three years. The squad has also won three Northeast-10 Championships, running the team's total to seven in nine seasons.

A National Hall of Fame defenseman, McCabe started his illustrious playing career at Elmont Memorial High School, where he led the program to a New York State Championship. In 1987, he matriculated at Syracuse, where he won three NCAA Division I National Championships, earned four United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-American honors and was the 1990 NCAA Defensive Player of The Year.

Following college, McCabe moved into the professional ranks, playing for the New York Saints of the National Lacrosse League from 1992-2001, with seven years as team captain. In 2001, he joined the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse, spending six years with team, all of them as captain. He also helped the Lizards to MLL Championships in 2001 and 2003.

McCabe also brings a wealth of international experience to Adelphi. He first donned a USA jersey in 1988 as part of the U19 team at the World Championships in Adelaide, Australia, where he earned "Fairest and Best Player" honors. He followed that up with inclusion on the 1990 (alternate), 1998 and 2006 United States national teams, earning a gold medal in 1998 and a silver medal at the 2006 World Championships.

On his collegiate coaching resume, McCabe spent time as a defensive coordinator with the LIU Post men's lacrosse program from 1999-2001, helping the Pioneers to NCAA Division II runner-up finishes in 1999 and 2000. He was also a member of the Adelphi University men's lacrosse coaching staff in 2011, pushing the Panthers to NCAA Division II runner-up status.

McCabe is also the founder and camp director for Shooting Star Lacrosse camps, which have operated since 1999, and founded ICON Lacrosse.

Lead Instructor Frankie Caridi

Frankie Caridi enters her seventh season with the Adelphi University women's lacrosse team in 2023, after returning to the program where she began her college career in the summer of 2016.

Caridi returned to Adelphi after spending 2016 on the sidelines at her alma mater, Stony Brook, and the 2015 campaign with the Bucknell coaching staff. She helped the Seawolves to a fourth straight America East Championship and a defeat of Boston College, 11-9 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Under Caridi's tutelage, freshman goalie Anna Tesoriero was named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Rookie Team.

As a student-athlete, Caridi spent one year at Adelphi before transferring to spend her final three years at Stony Brook. As a Panther, the East Northport, N.Y. native started all 20 games for the Brown and Gold, and went 20-0 on the way to a National Championship. She was named the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year in addition to an IWLCA First Team All-American.

In the Division I ranks, Caridi became one of the most prolific goalies in Stony Brook program history. Her .514 career save percentage is tops in the Seawolves' record book, while her 5.91 goals-against average is the best among any goalie with at least 1500 minutes played. Caridi won two America East championships and qualified for two NCAA tournaments, earning IWLCA Third-Team All-American status in 2014.

Additionally, she was named the Lacrosse Magazine and ILWomen.com Goalie of the Year, picked as the America East Defensive Player of the Year, a nominee for the Tewaaraton Award, and a two-time IWLCA First-Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region selection.
Instructor Jen Graham

Jen Graham, a four-year starting defender for the Panthers from 2014-17, is in her fifth season as an assistant coach with the Panthers in 2022.

Her first two years on the sidelines has seen back-to-back 19-win seasons, as well as the program's ninth NCAA Division II National Championship in 2019.

As a student-athlete, Graham helped return Adelphi to national prominence, as she was a national champion in three of her four seasons (2014, 2015, 2017) in Garden City.

In that same four-year timeframe, the Panthers lost just three games, while posting a near-undefeated 85-3 record -- a .966 winning percentage.

An NE10 All-Conference third-team selection in 2017, Graham racked up career totals of 92 ground balls and 67 caused turnovers in her playing tenure at Adelphi.

Graham is a native of Wantagh, N.Y.

A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. All health and release forms will be collected on the first day of camp. What to bring:

CHECK-IN
Check-in takes place at Lion's Field at 8:30am Tuesday, August 16th. Camp begins at 9:00am. Health/Release Forms must be completed and brought with you to camp. Campers cannot be admitted without this form.

CHECK-OUT
Camp ends at 12:00pm each day. There will be a closing ceremony at 11:45am on Friday, August 19th.
