The 2019 Nike Lacrosse Camp in Florida will take place at Florida Atlantic University. From the moment you arrive until it is time to leave, everything you need is here at this beautiful 850-acre site located near the Atlantic Ocean. The campus is conveniently located halfway between Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
As the sport strengthens in Florida, this camp presents an incredible opportunity for youth players to improve their fundamental skills, and for high school players to focus on advanced position-specific drills and an overall intense level of competition, all while training at some of the finest facilities that you will find anywhere in the country.

Camp Director Tony Lowe

Tony Lowe grew up playing lacrosse for Long Island powerhouse Ward Melville High School, winning a State Title in 1997 and finishing Second in 1998. During his senior year, he was second on Long Island in goals (60) and points (109). His play earned him a scholarship to Lehigh University in the prestigious Patriot League. While there, Tony was voted athlete of the year in 2002 and 2003. He finished eighth in the country in goals-scored in 2002 and led all of Division 1 in goals scored in 2003. He founded LearnLax Academy in 2004, Snipers Lacrosse in 2009, and is a Camp Director for Nike in the summer.
Lacrosse Tips by Tony Lowe:
This summer, FAU is offering one session of overnight with a commuter (Extended Day Camp 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM) option available. At the Nike Boys Lacrosse Camp, our goal is to provide each camper with focused, intensive, position specific training sessions essential to improvement. We are committed to helping each camper become a better lacrosse player and we hope all participants leave camp having established new friendships and more passion for the game.

• Camp hours: MON 3:30PM-8:30PM, TUE-WED 9AM-8:30PM, THURS 9AM-12 NOON
A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
Check-in takes place on Monday, July 15th between 2:30pm-3:30pm.
There will be a closing ceremony at the field on Thursday, July 18th at 11:30am. Overnight Campers check-out from the dorm immediately following.
EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS
On the first day of camp, all extended day campers should arrive at 3:00pm dressed to play. All other days, the arrival time is 8:45 a.m. Extended day campers depart at 8:30p.m. Drop off and pick up locations will be given out at registration.

HOUSING & ROOMMATES
Parliament Hall (PAR) a suite-style residence hall consisting of both double and single rooms. 2 campers per room. If you have a roommate request, and have not already given it to us, please do so as soon as possible. Roommate requests are not guaranteed, if you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

SUPERVISION: The staff reside in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
MEALS: All meals are included for overnight campers.
TEAM DISCOUNT: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. Please have a team contact reach out directly to the USSC office at 1-800-645-3226 to receive a discount code to identify your group. Campers may then register through the website at their convenience and apply the coupon code during check-out.
GOALIE DISCOUNT: To ensure each session has enough goalies for drills and scrimmages, all goalies automatically qualify for a special $50 discount. You can call 1-800-645-3226 to receive the goalie discount over the phone or you can indicate that you are eligible for the goalie discount in the “comments” field when registering via our secure website. Goalie discount cannot be combined with any other discount.
