Camp All-Star is a coed sleep-over sports camp located at Kents Hill School in the scenic Belgrade Lakes region of Maine.

Camp Director Sean Chenevert
Coach Sean Chenevert is a graduate of Manhattanville College where he played four years of varsity soccer and baseball and received numerous awards such as the Valiant Plaque Award for Overall Best Athlete and The Clarence Coder Award Recipient for Outstanding Community Service. Chenevert is currently a member of US Lacrosse and the Eastern Massachusetts Girls Lacrosse Coaches Association. He is also an active member of the New England Prep School Athletic Council. Sean has guided and aided hundreds of high school athletes through the college recruiting process. He is a co-founder of a local club and coaches year round at the national level in many tournaments around the country.

Assistant Coach Brian Cormier
Brian Cormier is entering his third season as an assistant coach prior to serving as the team manager/volunteer assistant coach for the Worcester State University men's soccer program. Cormier also worked closely with Kelly Downs, Coordinator of Student-Athlete Support Services, overseeing and working with exemption soccer players. In addition to his volunteer work with the university, he also worked at Worcester South as a student teacher.View Brian's Bio ⟩
Brian was a four-year member of the Worcester State men's soccer team graduating in 2013 with a degree in history. In Brian's career he played in 71 games, making 54 starts. His senior year he was the only one to play and start in all 21 games. Brian was a captain for two years and finished his career with a total of 28 points. Brian earned multiple league awards during his playing career including first team all-conference, player of the week and MASCAC All-Academic team.
He helped lead the Lancers to the regular season MASCAC championship his senior year while leading the conference in assists. He also helped the team to two ECAC tournaments and three consecutive appearances in the MASCAC post-season tournament.
Director of Basketball - Girls Ashley Finnegan
Finnegan just finished her second year coaching at Westfield State University, helping the Owls to back-to-back MASCAC Tournament Championships and two NCAA tournament bids.The team reached the 19-win mark both years; including 11-1, records in the league helping them claim the 2017 and 2018 MASCAC regular season titles.View Ashley's Bio ⟩
Finnegan began her collegiate coaching career with a four-year stint at Lasell College in Newton, Mass., where she played a key role in the rebuilding of a program that went from 4-21 to 12-14 during her time.
Finnegan was a graduate of Westfield State in 2011 where she played her final two years leading the Owls to a MASCAC regular season championship and posting 19 doubles her senior year ranking 8th in the nation. Prior to transferring to Westfield in 2009 Finnegan started her career at NCAA Division II Mercy College (NY) where she averaged 10.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, helping lead the mavericks women’s team to their first postseason berth in the program’s history. In her four-year collegiate career, Finnegan scored 1286 points and grabbed 808 rebounds.
A native of Worcester, Mass., Finnegan was a four-year starter at Holy Name High School where she helped her team to a pair of district titles while also being named to the academic honor roll.
Director of Hockey Michael Findorff
Michael Findorff enters his second season as an assistant on the Bentley hockey coaching staff with the 2018-19 season.View Michael's Bio ⟩
Prior to his arrival in Waltham, Findorff was an assistant coach on the staff of Atlantic Hockey rival Niagara University. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Utica College.
Findorff played collegiately at Miami University as a defensemen from 2005-09, where he helped the RedHawks to a run of four straight NCAA Tournament appearances. His career culminated in helping the program to the Frozen Four in 2009, where they advanced to the finals, before falling in overtime to Boston University. He went on to join the New York Islanders organization (AHL) in 2009, and the Phoenix Coyotes organization (ECHL) in 2010.
From Colorado Springs, Colorado originally, Findorff graduated from Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in business-management information systems. He earned a Masters of Business Administration from Utica.
Director of Baseball Craig Doyle
In 2017 Coach Doyle was named Worcester Public Schools Teacher of the Year . He currently serves as a math teacher, Math Team Coach, Intramural Director and baseball coach in Worcester, MA.View Craig's Bio ⟩
Coach Doyle led Worcester Academy to being named the 2017 Prep School New England Championship Team. He also has coached many D1 scholarship players.
He is extremely familiar with camps as he has helped with Coach McNamara Baseball Camps for 10 years.
Kessel, a Bernedoodle, joins Camp All-Star this year! He enjoys watching soccer, swimming, paddleboarding, and playing with kids. His resume is an impressive array of sitting, rolling over, and fetching. Get ready to see him in action!
At Camp All-Star we recognize the importance of instilling core values into each of our campers. Our six core values are honesty, sportsmanship, courage, kindness, dependability, and unselfishness. We want to provide a fun, rewarding, and memorable sport camps for kids.
Campers customize their daily programs on the All-Star activities selection form. Our athletes participate in a skill-appropriate major sport for two periods per day. Youth summer basketball training camps are the perfect way for your kids to spend their summer. Watch our basketball camp video! We focus on fundamental skill training, game play and fitness. Players are grouped according to age and ability. Our nurturing environment provides an atmosphere for kids to learn, get better and to have fun. Our 10 to 1 camper to counselor ratio allows for individualized basketball instruction and attention.
Our Hockey Academy offers outstanding training and instruction at one of the best hockey camps in New England. This camp with in a camp, specializes in teaching kids the rules, skills and techniques necessary for improvement for all levels of players. Soccer is one of the most popular sports among children and teens. Watch our soccer camp video! There are hundreds of soccer leagues around the country. Some kids choose to play soccer competitively, while others just like to play for fun. Regardless of why they play, let the experts at Camp All-Star maximize their game and improve their soccer skills at our sleep-away soccer camps this summer. Kids participate in fun soccer drills, including specific soccer passing drills and match play. Special goalkeeper training is provided.
Send your child to Camp All-Star where they will be taught by some of the best golf instructors around. Our junior golf program is excellent: the finest PGA instructors, the best facility, and the most fun. Our camp takes strokes off their score by making a few key adjustments to your child’s swing. The golf camp will have your child’s swing video analyzed on the range or on the magnificent Belgrade Lakes Golf Course. All-Star Special Programs:
Tell your kids to grab their racquet and get ready for a great summer at Camp All-Star. Our program is a great way for children to develop their tennis playing skills as well as make new friends and develop long lasting friendships. Watch our tennis camp video! Our one and two week programs offer the best way to enjoy summer days while improving your game. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, we have the professional staff on hand to help. We group campers based on ability, so our tennis campers have the opportunity to take their game to the next level.
One of the most popular sports that kids and teens play all over America is flag football. Camp All-Star is one of the best flag football camps in the country. Watch our flag football camp video! Our experienced coaches teach the kids the best flag football plays, secret tips, and standardized flag football rules. By utilizing fun but effective flag football drills, our coaches create a formidable offense and defense that is used during the much loved inter-camp games with other nearby camps. Participating in team sports encourages physical activity, instills self-confidence and teaches cooperation and sportsmanship as well as other life-skills. We provide a flag football summer camp program for children of all skill levels – beginner, intermediate and advanced. Give them a summer they will always remember.
Our golf academy focuses on all aspects of the game and will help your child fully understand and feel comfortable with the rules and techniques of the game of golf. Your child can take their golf game to the next level with our specialized summer golf program directed by our PGA teaching professional. In addition to daily instruction on our 300 yard driving range, campers play three rounds per week on a beautiful local and challenging golf course. The minimum requirements to participate in our Golf Academy are: be at least 11 years old, successfully completed 5 rounds (18 holes) of golf, and understand the proper rules and etiquette of the game of golf.
We offer an optional Horseback Riding program three days a week for one hour per session at the beautiful Meadow View Equestrian Center, just a mile from campus. The program teaches both English and Western style riding. Proper riding equipment including helmets, boots, and long pants are required for safety.
A popular sport among many kids, volleyball can help to improve your child’s eye-hand coordination as well as help teach them how to work together as a team. Watch our volleyball camp video! We proudly provide a volleyball summer camp program for children of all skill levels – beginner, intermediate or advanced. Our talented coaches run challenging volleyball drills for the campers in order to improve their game. Our boys and girls volleyball camp is full of fun with an emphasis on skill development.
Camp All-Star's amazing water sports including water skiing, wakeboarding and kneeboarding are very popular among our campers! Summer is about enjoying the days outdoors, so enjoy the beautiful Maine lakes while perfecting your water skills at camp. These activities are the highlight for many of our campers at All-Star!
