Associate Men's Head Coach Javier Decima
Javier Decima was promoted to Associate Head Soccer Coach on February, 2019, after serving as a volunteer goalkeeper coach and later as the first assistant. He has been with the Stags program since 2010.View Javier's Bio ⟩
Decima’s influence has showed dividends, as two of Fairfield’s goalkeepers - Michael O’Keeffe (New Zealand) and Matt Turner (USA) have gone to play at the pro level and represented their country's National team.
From 2010 to 2012, Decima coached O’Keeffe, who became a three-time All MAAC First Team selection. O’Keeffe was awarded the MAAC 2011 Defensive Player of the Year and MAAC All-Tournament team. In 2012, he received a call up to the New Zealand Men’s National Team for 2012 OFC Nations Cup. O’Keeffe was also selected for the New Zealand team that participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He signed a pro contract with Team Wellington in New Zealand ASB Premiership in 2014.
In 2014, Turner was awarded the NCAA Statistical Champion for Best Save Percentage and Shutout Percentage in the Nation. He was also selected to MAAC All-Tournament team. In 2015 he was named All MAAC second team. Matt signed a professional contract with MLS side New England Revolution in 2016. Matt was selected as the 2020 Revolution Team MVP, 2021 MLS All-Star Game MVP, 2021 MLS Best XI and 2021 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. He has gone to represent the USMNT winning the Gold Cup and Golden Glove. This summer, he signed a multi-year contract with Arsenal FC from the EPL League.
From 2017 to 2020, he coached Gordon Botterill who was named a 2018 and 2020 All-MAAC first team goalkeeper in addition to earning All-MAAC second team honors in n 2017 and 2019 . In 2018 and 2020 ,Botterill was chosen as the MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year.
Decima is heavily involved in all aspects of Fairfield University's program. Some of the more specific tasks include academic development of student athletes; assistance in game situations; overseeing the goalkeeper training and assisting the head coach with session planning and field set up; lead recruiting of potential student athletes and handling administrative responsibilities associated with the program operations, which involve recruiting logistics and planning, team travel details and equipment.
Decima spent two years at Ulster Community College playing under Hall of Fame coach George Vizvary. During his stay there, he won a Region 15 title and placed 3rd in the 2001 National Junior College Tournament.
After Ulster Community College, Decima transferred to the University of Bridgeport. There he won an ECAC championship and was selected to the NYCAC 2nd team in 2003 and 1st team in 2004. He was also recognized as ADIDAS All-Region Team in 2004.
He is currently the goalkeeper director for Beachside of Connecticut a MLSNEXT Academy. He is also the co-founder of Keepermax Goalkeeper Academy.
Decima is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a BS in Psychology After graduation, he became a graduate assistant for two years on the men’s soccer staff and earned his MS in counseling.
He holds an NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma and an NSCAA National Diploma.
Decima currently resides in Stamford, CT with his wife Lindsay and son Maximiliano.
Assistant Men's Soccer Coach - Manhattanville College Aidan Rahill
Rahill comes to Manhattanville with four years of coaching experience, most recently serving as the First Assistant Men's Soccer Coach and later Interim Head Coach at Coastal Bend College for the 2021-22 season.View Aidan's Bio ⟩
While with the Cougars, Rahill assisted with the development of weekly practice plans and evaluations of student-athletes. Rahill was also the recruiting coordinator for Coastal Bend men's soccer, helping to recruit student-athletes and attending camps across the world to recruit players. In addition to organizing and planning team travel and breaking down opponent film, Rahill was the team's social media manager, helping to develop an identity for Cougar Men's Soccer online. Coastal Bend reached a No. 5 national ranking while Rahill was on the sidelines in the 2021 season and mentored three All-Region XIV players.
After finishing the 2021-22 season at Coastal Bend, Rahill served as a First Team Assistant Coach and Head Reserve Coach at St. Louis Lions of the USL 2 as they narrowly missed out on a playoff spot. The St.Louis Lions were ranked as high as No. 14 in the USL 2 during the 2022 season.
Prior to making his way to Coastal Bend, Rahill served as an Assistant Coach at Barca Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina earlier in 2021, conducting practice sessions while joining a travel team that made its way along the east coast throughout the summer. Rahill also served as a coach for the Football Association of Ireland in 2018. He currently holds a USSF "C" License.
Rahill was a member of the Missouri Valley College men's soccer team from 2017 to 2021, serving as the team's vice-captain in his senior year. Missouri Valley men’s soccer would claim the NAIA National Championship in the 2020-21 season for the first time in the programs very successful history. Rahill was also a 2020 NAIA Scholar Athlete whilst a student-athlete with the Vikings. Rahill played for the St. Louis Lions of USL League Two in 2019 before playing for Alamo City SC out of San Antonio, Texas in 2020.
Rahill is a 2021 graduate of Missouri Valley College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management along with a Minor in Accounting. He currently resides in Purchase, N.Y.

This program is geared towards players of all abilities. Campers will work on mastering the proper fundamentals, techniques, and advancing their overall skills and knowledge of the game. A great opportunity for players to will learn through a mix of drills, games, and competitive play.

- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 4 or size 5 ball, which will be passed out on the first day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. Please fill out the Team Discount - Soccer form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
