Nike Soccer Camps announces our newest location for the summer of 2019, University of Wisconsin, Platteville!
At UW-Platteville, our goal is to cultivate overall player development. Players are placed into groups based on skill, age, and years of experience. Instruction focuses on individual skills, creating an attack, decision-making, finishing, individual and group defending, small-sided games, and improving tactical ability. Training sessions will take place on our two ProGrass turf surface fields.

Head Coach Emily Ryan
Since becoming the head coach in 2017, Emily Ryan has taken the program to new heights. In her second season, Ryan led the 2018 Pioneers to its best conference finish in program history, earning a fourth place seed in the WIAC Conference Tournament and the program’s first tournament appearance since 2013.View Emily's Bio ⟩
The 2018 campaign was one of the best in program history being highlight by records and great results. The Pioneers recorded their first program victory against UW-Eau Claire, logged their highest number of wins since 2014, and broke four school records. Under Ryan, two athletes have been selected to the WIAC All-Conference Team and one athlete has been named to the Third Team All-North Region
Assistant Women's Soccer Coach James Culotta
Culotta entered his first collegiate coaching season at UW-Platteville in 2018 where he helped lead the Pioneer Women’s Soccer Team to their best conference finish in program history. He came to UW-Platteville after serving as a staff coach for Tualatin Hills United Soccer Club in Portland, OR and as the Head coach of Faith Bible High School Boys Soccer in Hillsboro, OR, both from 2015-2018. Culotta also served as the Assistant Coach at Racine Lutheran High School in 2014. Prior to coaching, Culotta played collegiately at Concordia University of Chicago. James currently holds his USSF National E License and is also the Head Coach of the Dubuque Senior High School Boys’ Soccer Team.
Assistant Men's Soccer Coach UW Platteville Josh Gavin
Gavin entered his first collegiate coaching season at UW-Platteville in 2018 where he helped lead the Pioneer Men’s Soccer Team to an NCAA tournament second-round appearance. Gavin came to UW-Platteville after six years of experience in coaching at many elite clubs in the Chicago and Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan areas (Elite Soccer Club, St. Paul Blackhawks Soccer Club in Minnesota, and Decorah United). Gavin has a wealth of playing experience after being a two-time NCAA tournament qualifier while playing at Luther College in Decorah, IA.

We hold camp rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, during drop-off or pick-up, staff members direct you to the proper training facility.
What's included in the fee?
Overnight campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
Extended Day campers (9am-8pm - except on ﬁrst and last day): Lunch and dinner are provided.
24-hour supervision is an important feature of every NIKE Soccer Camp. Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.

The staff live in the dormitories with the campers and participate in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. Please have a team contact reach out directly to the USSC office at 1-800-645-3226 to receive a discount code to identify your group. Campers may then register through the website at their convenience and apply the coupon code during check-out.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring is emailed to all registered campers. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and are collected on the first day of camp.
Transportation is not provided by the camp.
Rooms: All rooms are suite-style consisting of 4 campers per two-bedroom suite. All suites are air-conditioned and bedrooms are joined by a shared bathroom with shower.
Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age and roommate requests. Roommate requests must be received no later than 14 days before the start of camp
Linens: Not provided. Bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel

Camp Questions & Answers
When and where will the check-in and check-out take place for the 2019 camp?
Check-in and check-out takes place at Bridgeway Commons.
What type of field does the soccer instruction and games take place on?
Instruction and games take place on our two on-campus turf fields (game field and practice field).
How much overall improvement should be expected after completion of this soccer camp?
There are many benefits of attending a Nike Soccer Camp and campers should leave camp knowing they’ve improved their overall soccer ability. Each player will be fitter, stronger, more skilled, and more inspired to continue playing and improving at home.
How and when will I receive my Registration packet with important camp details?
Well before the start of your camp (at least 3 weeks), you will receive a Registration Packet which will include all the important details about camp: directions to camp, when to arrive, what to pack/ bring, key camp phone numbers, and a health form.
Does the Health & Release Form need to be signed by a doctor?
Our Health & Release Form does not require a doctor’s signature. This form is required to be filled out accurately, signed by the parent (guardian), and brought with you to the first day of camp.
Does this Nike Soccer Camp accommodate special dietary needs?
Campers dine in one of the on-campus dining halls. In the case that your camper has special dietary needs, our dining services will accommodate these and prepare all meals specific to his/her needs.
How many campers are placed in a dorm and do you accommodate roommate requests?
Campers stay in a two-bedroom suite (two campers per room) where four campers share a bathroom and shower. When you register for the camp, you will have an option to submit a roommate request. If you would like to add a roommate request after registering for a camp, please feel free to give us a call or send us an email. We accommodate all roommate requests.
Does this camp have medical personnel on staff?
All Nike Soccer Camps have a certified athletic training on-site in case of a training injury or medical ailment/emergency.
