My daughter's favorite camp!
July 21, 2018: We have been to many soccer camps over the years. This is by far my daughter's favorite and exceeded our expectations! My daughter enjoyed playing with competitive players of all ages and genders. The coaches were engaging and attentive (no cell phones out!). The coaches were always on the field with the kids demonstrating and encouraging them. The highlights were the finale World Cup format and pageantry. As a parent, I appreciated the coaches walking the kids to the public bathroom and to the fields. The fields were set-up every morning upon our arrival with the equipment, tents and water. The daily Instagram photos and player evaluation were much appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend Coach Matt and his team.

Our only suggestion: Have the camps more often in Marin county!
July 30, 2018: Foremost, our two sons, aged 5 and 7 - both on comp teams, had fun and loved football (soccer) more after camp than before, which we did not think possible!!! The coaches approached the skills and play sessions with joyful enthusiasm, which transferred to our sons. They came back with a greater physical skill set but also with a greater understanding of football and ability to articulate their thoughts about individual and collective skills. Simply put: awesome. Also, the mixed ages is an opportunity for all kids to learn from one another in a method proven to work in skill building - the kids learned to take care of one another. We will be back!

Best Youth Coach
As a family with three sons who love soccer, we've had many coaches and experienced many soccer camps over the years. However, Ben Maxwell at Player ONE is our #1! The development we've seen in our boys (coupled with a surge in their love for practice!) has been nothing short of transformational. Coach Ben is a professional in every sense of the word. His knowledge, preparation, equipment, and drills are second to none. What makes him stand out is his TRANSMITTAL of that knowledge; he's truly the "youth soccer player whisperer." Ben is firm, disciplined, and maintains high expectations. At the same time, he motivates, instructs, and delivers creative trainings--complete with a sense of momentum and FUN! Enroll your player with Coach Ben at Player ONE. It's the best investment!

My 3 boys have been attending Coach Ben’s camps for close to 2 years now and I am absolutely delighted in the players they are becoming. He is a rare coach who combines all aspects of the game into his camps; technical, tactical and strategic. Most importantly, he does it in a way where the kids are having fun without realizing how much they are developing. He has an eye for details and explains to kids what they are doing incorrectly in a positive way and also recognizes kids for what they are doing well. Coach Ben knows how to connect with kids of all ages to foster their talents to the maximum. I truly recommend his soccer camp to any parent looking for that competitive advantage for their child in the "beautiful game”.

This camp was amazing. The level of instruction and ability of Coach Ben and kids was eye-opening. I didn't know kids this age could do this level of technical drills, and still have fun! The scrimmage at the end brought it all together and let the kids work the skills in a game scenario. Really fun to watch. This is a top-level camp, attracting elite players."
Not only are Ben and his staff professional, but they pay attention to the details. My son is an elite player and has recently attended Player ONE Camps. He loved the training drills and the fact that he was constantly challenged by the staff and the rest of the elite players attending the camps. He was encouraged to express his creativity during each training and this has improved his decision making and playing style. My son is scoring 1-2 goals per game from inside and outside the 18-yard box! Thank you Player ONE, we’ll definitely be back!

Coach is great!
My daughter is a competitive soccer player and has attended many of Ben's camps. He is always well organized and designs them to challenge the player to meet their full potential as a soccer player and as a teammate. We like and trust him so much we continue to have small group trainings with him once a week outside the regular team trainings. I highly recommend attending camps run by Ben.
— LeeAnn W.
Our son has attended almost all of Ben's camps (time permitting) for four years now. Ben is an awesome coach, he is more than a coach, he is a mentor. Being from Germany ourselves, we as parents, love that he brings the European flair into his coaching style. Our son has learned so much in these camps and they are fun (as I witness every time I pick up my son). He loves going to them, it is amazing! It doesn't matter if it's during the Spring,Summer, or Winterbreak, our son loves waking up to attend Ben's camps Bottom line is, Ben's camps are worth every penny!

Unique and Valuable training
I have twin daughters who have attended Ben Maxwell's soccer camps since they were nine years old. They are 14 now, and the technical skills, in particular, they have picked up from Ben's trainings are still with them. They both play at the Premier level and would not be as technically developed had they not gotten that very unique training from Ben. Ben is knowledgeable about all aspects of soccer and is respectful to the kids he teaches - at any level, any age. He's a rare gem of a coach and my girls have had nothing but a positive experience every time they attend his camps.
— Jenny P.
Our son has participated in several camps and small group trainings offered by Ben Maxwell. We cannot speak highly enough of his organization, technical training and connection with the players. Ben was recommended to us as not only a fantastic technical coach, but also as an amazing character coach. We are in complete agreement. Ben challenges the boys on so many levels. We will continue to send our son to his camps and recommend to others.
— Sean and Donrina K.
My son has participated in both Ben's summer camps and his small group tranings and he always raves about both. Ben is an exceptional coach who sets very high expectations, has great technical knowledge, and encourages everyone to give a 100%. He also creates a fun atmosphere where kids want to try their best and are inspired to work hard. Ben has great communication with parents and is always positive and encouraging. He is definitely the best coach that we have ever worked with and highly recommend his camps.
