Immerse yourself in a week of softball with Nike Softball Camps at Cal Lutheran University. This camp, located in Thousand Oaks, provides softball players the opportunity to refine their hitting, fielding, pitching and base-running skills as well as learn new techniques on these fundamentals!

Coach Debbie Nelson is recognized as one of the top private teaching instructors in the business. Coach Nelson's training and coaching experience began in 1988 in Sacramento. After spending one year at St Francis High School where the team finished as CIF Champions, she spent the next six years at Sacramento State University.

Camp Details
This camp is for softball players of all abilities. Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, specific position fielding, base-running, and game situations. In addition, pitchers will have the opportunity to work with pitching instructors.

CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: June 18-21, 2024
- Age Group: 8-17
- Gender: Girl
- Camp Type: Day Camp | Overnight
- Day Camper Schedule: Tuesday, 1pm – 8:30pm (dinner included); Wednesday & Thursday, 9am-5pm (lunch included); Friday 9am – 1pm
- Overnight Camper Check-In: 1:00pm on Tuesday
- Overnight Camper Check-Out: 1:00pm on Friday
- Lunch: All meals are provided for overnight campers. Breakfast only for overnight campers on Friday. Dinner is provided on day 1 for Day Campers and lunch is provided on days 2&3.
HOUSING (TBD)
- Dorm: TBD
- Campers Per Room: Up to 4
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Linens: Linens will be provided
- Air Conditioning: Yes

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.
