Join the fun and get better this summer, at the Nike Softball Camp at Redwood High Schooll! At camp, campers receive professional instruction, work hard, improve on skills and make new friends!
Directing this Nike Softball Camp is Juliana Santos. Santos was a four-year starting shortstop for LSU, as well as captaining her team for her last two years. Coach Santos teaches girls to play with passion, fire, and a never-back-down attitude, on top of being a standout skills instructor. She is an outstanding role model for young softball players.

Camp Director Juliana Santos
Santos joined the Penguins in fall 2016 ahead of the 2017 season. Additionally, she is associate director at All American Sports Academy, where she runs clinics for defense and hitting.View Juliana Santos's Bio ⟩
Prior to joining Dominican, Santos was an assistant coach at Stanislaus State for the 2014 season. Before that, she served as the varsity head coach at Modesto's Gregroi High School. She was also an assistant coach at the club level for the Ripon Rampage.
Santos was a 2009 NFCA All-South Region First Team selection at Louisiana State, where she was a four-year starter, mostly at shortstop. In 213 games, Santos recorded 148 hits with 27 doubles, 86 RBI, 64 walks, and 30 stolen bases. The Tigers appeared in the NCAA Championships all four seasons that Santos was on the team, including a Women's College World Series appearance in 2012. That season, she earned All-Louisiana Honorable Mention and 2012 SEC Academic Honor Roll. She was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team and All-LSWA Honorable Mention in 2009.
A two-time Conference MVP at Orestimba High School in Newman, California, Santos led Orestimba to two sectional championships and an undefeated season in 2007. In 2008, she was named Small School California Player of the Year and Sacramento Bee Player of the Year after hitting .667 with 11 home runs, and 55 RBI, and 21 doubles.
Coach Tori Nyberg

Nyberg, a teammate of Allister’s from 2001-02, returns to The Farm after leading Dominican this past season. She made previous stops at Cal State Monterey Bay (2016), Northwestern (2004-10) and at the University of Illinois-Chicago (2003).
“Coach Nyberg was a great pitcher for Stanford and has excelled as a pitching coach since she left,” said Allister. “She understands the skill set necessary to compete at the highest level and has the teaching acumen to help her pitchers get there. She has head coaching experience and knows what goes into leading a successful program. I am so excited to bring her back to Stanford.”
While an assistant coach at Northwestern, Nyberg helped guide the Wildcats to two Big Ten Conference titles and multiple appearances in the Women’s College World Series. She and her coaching staff earned NCAA Division I Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2006.
Nyberg has been active in the softball community off the field as well as the owner of Elevate Performance Counseling, LLC, which focuses on sports and performance counseling. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stanford and master’s in counselling psychology from Northwestern and is a licensed counselor.
Nyberg had a successful career with the Cardinal and was a two-time All-Pac-12 selection (2002, 2003), two-time NFCA Scholar Athlete (2002, 2003) and two-time Pac-12 All-Academic honoree (2002-2003).
Nyberg is ranked among the top 10 in Stanford history in career ERA (4th, 1.74), strikeouts (5th, 440), victories (6th, 53), innings pitched (6th, 551.0) and shutouts (7th, 14).

Located conveniently off Hwy 101, the Nike Softball Camp at Redwood High School will run from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. for campers aged 7 - 13 years old.

A detailed camper registration packet containing the check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
