USSC is proud to offer our 3rd annual Nike Swim Camp in Wisconsin at Lawrence University. The 84-acre campus is located in downtown Appleton, divided into two parts by the Fox River. Designed for competitive swimmers to improve and refine their stroke technique our goal at the Nike Swim Camp is to teach the things that will make the biggest difference to your performance.

The academic campus is on the north shore of the river, and the major athletic facilities are on the southeast shore. Campers train each day at the Olympic-size swimming pool in the Buchanan Kiewit Wellness Center. Camp will be limited to 56 campers per session so we encourage you to register soon!

The Nike Swim Camp at Lawrence University is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g. U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast and freestyle.

Highlights Include
  • Stroke technique refinement for competitive swimming
  • Low camper to staff ratio and 24 hour supervision
  • Small group and individual stroke analysis/instruction
  • Fun evening social activities
  • Every camper receives a Nike Camp T-shirt and Nike Swim Cap
  • Every camper is eligible to receive merit-based prizes during camp

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

June 21, 2018: We wanted to say thank you for offering such a fantastic camp with Coach Fleek and staff at Lawrence University. Our daughters cannot talk fast enough about all they learned. They are both excited to get back into the home pool and put into practice all that was taught to them. Thank you for providing a sound, technical skills camp for our girls. We also appreciate the first “overnight camp” opportunity in such a safe, well organized environment. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We look forward to seeing you next summer!

    Lots of individual feedback!

July 20, 2017: I really enjoyed analyzing the videos our counselors took of us swimming the different strokes. I got lots of helpful individualized feedback on my strokes too. The games were fun, but competitive, and gave the campers time to get to know each other. The drill sessions greatly improved my stroke.

    Extremely well run!

July 28, 2016: Nike Swim Camp at Lawrence University was an extremely well run and well organized camp. My son dramatically improved the timing for his breathing on the butterfly to maximize his speed, and fixed his whip kick for the butterfly. He can't wait to continue working on these and all of the improvements he made during the week. He will be back next year!
