    Everything finally clicked!

June 28, 2018: My girls are strong swimmers but struggle with breaststroke. They came home confident about this stroke and feeling like everything finally clicked! The girls loved the dorm living and the dining hall as well.

    Had a blast!

June 28, 2018: This was my daughters first time at any camp and she had a blast. Every night when she called me she was all smiles and laughing and having fun with her roommates. I am so pleased with her experience. She cannot wait to go back next year.

    Loved it!

June 28, 2018: The camp size was a plus. My daughter felt as if she received individual attention. She also loved the underwater ‘headset’ (I’m not sure if that what it was) but the ability to hear the coaches give her instructions while underwater was an awesome experience her her. Overall she felt as if she learned more in just the first four hours than she has in her lifetime as swimming.

    Great opportunity!

July 8, 2017: Our daughter liked the extra/optional training at the end of the day when coaches worked with her individually. She loved the food! She loved her dorm and how independent she was there.

    Best camp!

July 6, 2017: I really enjoyed the water sessions after dinner because it was super relaxing and fun. I also enjoyed free time at night because my friends would come to my dorm and do lip sync battles and other fun stuff. Everything was so much fun and I am definitely doing it next year!

    Already seeing improvement!

July 1, 2016: The coaches attention to detail was amazing. They would give everyone something to work on to make sure that we were improving our individual strengths. I was told to focus on kicking and I am already seeing improvement! Also the food was so good.

    Thanks again!

June 28, 2016: My son returned from camp so excited to return to his swim team. That night we came home to a meet and he not only popped all his times, he made county in two strokes! The next swim meet he continued on this path and popped four events again. He already loved swimming but this helped him see what little changes could do to make him faster in the water. Plus he loved spending the night away from home! Thanks again!

    Great instruction!

July 10, 2015: I am glad that I signed up for the UC Santa Cruz Nike Swim Camp! My Teammates have attended other Nike Swim Camps and have complained about the lack of pool and lane space as well as one on one instructor time. UC Santa Cruz pool was incredible and we had plenty of Lane space. It was great fun meeting others swimmers from different clubs! There is even a group of us that plan to meet up and do it again next year!

A chance to see swimming from a different perspective!

July 7, 2015: This camp gave me the chance to see swimming from a different perspective. As a competitive swimmer who is considering continuing this sport in college I can say that I benefited from my time at UCSC. The Nike Swim Camp Staff answered all my questions about swimming at the collegiate level. It was a great experience for me, both learning new ways to improve my stroke and meeting new people.

    Great time!

July 5, 2015: The swim sets were enjoyable while I was learning, yet working hard. Visualization exercises were awesome. Explanations were good and coaches were responsive to questions or re-explaining a concept. Learning about equipment was great and getting to watch films of myself was great.

This camp was worth the time and money!

July 2, 2015: At this particular camp the coaches made all the difference. Our daughter was having issues with false starts (flinching at the start) and was getting DQ'd in some of her races. The coaches picked this up without a mention of it and helped her to fix it. This camp was worth the time and money!

    Amazing camp!

July 2, 2015: Definitely worth the time and money! My son has gone to one other camp and he did not improve much then, but this one really helped him. The group size was perfect to give the kids enough one on one time with the coaches. My son's swim team coach and we saw a big difference in just the first two days of camp. He can't for next year's camp.
