Nike Swim Camp is excited to be back for our third summer at San Domenico School, located in San Anselmo, CA. This camp, will be lead by Head Swim Coach Gadi Shamah, and is designed to help competitive swimmers improve their stroke technique.
Nike Swim Camps will focus on providing a well-rounded and balanced camp experience that teaches swimmers the necessary skills to enjoy a lifetime of success in swimming. Swimmers train each day in the eight-lane, 25-meter pool.
The Nike Swim Camp at San Domenico School is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g. U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast and freestyle.

Camp Director Gadi Shamah

Gadi received a Bachelors of Arts from Dominican University in San Rafael, California. A native of Marin County, Gadi has strong connections to the swimming community in the area. Gadi swam with the Marin Pirates, Marin Water Polo and at Terra Linda High School.
After serving in the US Marine Corps, Gadi returned to swimming as a coach and mentor. Gadi has over twelve years of coaching experience and an ASCA Level 4/3 certification. He is rated in the top 15% of coaches nationally. Gadi has spent the majority of his professional career coaching multiple levels, including Learn-to-Swim programs, Head Coaching Summer League programs, Head Coaching for Drake High School (4th place at NCS 2006), two years coaching U.S. National Qualifiers at Marin Pirates, interning with Australian National and Olympic Trials Qualifiers (with Coach Rick Curl), Head Coach at the Presidio Aquatic Club, Head Coach of Piranha Swimming a year round USA Swim Team.
Gadi was most recently the Director of Aquatics and Manager of a premier swim and tennis club in San Francisco. Gadi lives in Kentfield with his wife, Sarah, and two sons, Nicos and Teodor.
This summer, San Domenico School is offering a day camp option (9:00am-3:30pm) for ages 9-16. Upon arrival at camp, campers are placed in groups with other swimmers having similar abilities and goals. Our camp staff will do their best to accommodate your needs, keeping in consideration your experience and desire to improve.
DAY CAMP AMENITIES

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
MONDAY-THURSDAY: Day Campers check-in at 9:00am and check out at 3:30pm each day.
MEALS: Campers should bring their own lunch each day. Lunch can be purchased at registration for $40 per week/session. The dining facility at San Domenico School offers excellent food choices at every meal, featuring organic meats and produce.
Bus Transportation: A round-trip local shuttle is available for interested day campers from Terra Linda, San Rafael and San Anselmo locations. The cost is $30 per week. Please note that you will be asked to create an account on the San Domenico website prior to completing shuttle transportation registration and payment.
TEAM DISCOUNT: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. Please have a team contact reach out directly to the USSC office at 1-800-645-3226 to receive a discount code to identify your group. Campers may then register through the website at their convenience and apply the coupon code during check-out.
SIBLING DISCOUNT: $25 off each swimmer. You can call 1-800-645-3226 FREE to receive the sibling discount over the phone or you can indicate that you are eligible for the sibling discount in the “comments” field when registering via our secure website. The San Domenico School, a beautiful California prep school located in Marin Country, is just 15 miles from San Francisco. With the backdrop of Marin County's most beautiful hills, and blue sunny skies, the campus offers over 515 acres of state-of-the art academic facilities, playing fields, a music conservatory, riding stables, swimming pool, gymnasium, one-acre organic garden, 2,358 solar panels, and six tennis courts.
