Nike Swim Camp is excited to be back for our 4th summer in 2019 at the San Domenico School, located in San Anselmo, CA. Nestled in San Anselmo, San Domenico School is one-of-a-kind, offering top-tier instruction, premier dining choices, fun evening activities, consecutive weeks for players wanting more, and a unique program for international students looking to improve both their basketball and English language skills.
Nike Swim Camps will focus on providing a well-rounded and balanced camp experience for domestic and international campers that teaches swimmers the necessary skills to enjoy a lifetime of success in swimming. Swimmers train each day in the eight-lane, 25-meter pool.

The Nike Swim Camp at San Domenico School is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g. U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast and freestyle.

Camp Director Paul Birich
Paul Birich has been coaching and teaching swimming for over 12 years. He was an All - American swimmer in high school for the Sir Francis Drake Pirates, and a Senior National qualifier in backstroke and butterfly. He then went onto swim Division 1 at the University of Hawaii.View Paul Birich's Bio ⟩
He is a USA-certified coach, and has led multiple swimmers to Junior Olympic and Far Western qualifying standards. He is currently the Assistant Coach of the 25 time MSL Champions, Sleepy Hollow Swim Team, in San Anselmo. He looks forward to sharing his swimming knowledge and passion to all swim campers this summer.
This summer, San Domenico School is offering two sessions of overnight camp with a day camp option (9:00am-3:30pm) for ages 9-16. Upon arrival at camp, campers are placed in groups with other swimmers having similar abilities and goals. Our camp staff will do their best to accommodate your needs, keeping in consideration your experience and desire to improve.
Session I: July 21-25
Session II: July 28-August 1
*Overnight campers check-in on Sunday at Mercedes Court. Day Campers check-in on Monday at the San Domenico Pool.
International Campers: Looking to improve your swim AND English language skills? Check out the Nike Swim Camp + ELS program at San Domenico school which offers swim training from our top-notch Nike Swim Camps staff, English classes with professional ELS instructors, on-campus lodging, and fun weekend excursions. A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.

Campers should bring their own lunch each day. Lunch can be purchased at registration for $40 per week/session. The dining facility at San Domenico School offers excellent food choices at every meal, featuring organic meats and produce.
Extend your camp experience with Friday Fun! Friday Fun gives day campers the option to come back on Friday morning for recreational activities for $40. Friday morning activities are directed by San Domenico Soccer Coach Fiona O'Sullivan and includes fully supervised and fun outdoor sports including recreational soccer and basketball. (Please note that Friday Fun is not additional training.)
Check-in takes place Sunday at 5:00 pm at Mercedes Court Dorms.
All campers will depart at 3:30 pm on Thursday.
HOUSING & ROOMMATES
Campers will reside in the newly renovated West and East Dorms on campus. Campers stay two per room and are assigned by age and roommate requests. If you have a roommate request, and have not already given it to us, please do so as soon as possible. Roommate requests are not guaranteed, if you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new! Laundry facilities are on-site, free of charge. A kitchen and lounge with TV and games are on each floor.

MEDICAL FACILITY: a certified trainer will be on staff at all times
The staff live in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
All meals are included for overnight campers. Lunch and dinner is included for Extended Day Campers. Meals start with dinner on the first day and end with breakfast on the last day.
Extend your camp experience with Friday Fun! Friday Fun gives overnight campers the option to stay another night and check-out on Friday at 12pm. Friday Fun includes Thursday night lodging and Friday morning activities from 9am-12pm for $120. Friday morning activities are directed by San Domenico Soccer Coach Fiona O'Sullivan and includes fully supervised and fun outdoor sport activities including recreational soccer and basketball. (Please note that Friday Fun is not additional training.)
WEEKEND STAY OVER
Campers attending consecutive weeks have the opportunity to stay the weekend in-between for an additional cost of $450. This fee includes lodging for Thursday-Saturday nights, all meals, Friday Fun (see below), an afternoon field trip on Friday, and a full day excursion on Saturday.
A round-trip local shuttle is available for interested day campers from Terra Linda and San Rafael locations. The cost is $30 per week. To sign up for the shuttle, please register through San Domenico School directly at https://www.sandomenico.org/student-life/summer-camps. Please note that you will be asked to create an account on the San Domenico website prior to completing shuttle transportation registration and payment.
TEAM DISCOUNT: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. Please have a team contact reach out directly to the USSC office at 1-800-645-3226 to receive a discount code to identify your group. Campers may then register through the website at their convenience and apply the coupon code during check-out.
SIBLING DISCOUNT: $25 off each swimmer. You can call 1-800-645-3226 FREE to receive the sibling discount over the phone or you can indicate that you are eligible for the sibling discount in the “comments” field when registering via our secure website. The San Domenico School, a beautiful California prep school located in Marin Country, is just 15 miles from San Francisco. With the backdrop of Marin County's most beautiful hills, and blue sunny skies, the campus offers over 515 acres of state-of-the art academic facilities, playing fields, a music conservatory, riding stables, swimming pool, gymnasium, one-acre organic garden, 2,358 solar panels, and six tennis courts.
