Peak Performance Swim Camp employ a one-of-a-kind holistic training approach that conditions swimmers both inside and out. We believe swimmers are only as good as the sum of their parts, meaning those who lack essential mental, technical, or physical conditioning can never maximize their swimming potential.
This is a private swim camp for residents of Saudi Arabia only.
In order for a swimmer to realize their full swimming potential they must be mentally, technically and physically fit. Contrary to popular belief, physical fitness by itself is not enough. A swimmer must also possess a high degree of mental and technical fitness.

Nick Baker cofounded the original Peak Performance Swim Camp in 1996. In 2005 he branched out on his own and founded the present-day version. Nick Baker has been involved in competitive swimming since 1961. He swam competitively for 11 years (and qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 200M Breaststroke), coached club swimming for 21 years, and has exclusively run swim camps for the past 18 years. He started his coaching career in Canada in 1972, and moved to the United States in 1993 to run a competitive swim camp at the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
The camp’s one-of-a-kind holistic approach and positive coaching style was created by Coach Nick Baker, founder and head coach of Peak Performance Swim Camp. Following is a brief list of his swimming and coaching highlights:

Well-suited for advanced age group and senior-level swimmers, ages 11-18, who train 5,000 yards/meters (or greater) per practice.
PEAK 1 is our most challenging swim camp. The camp builds throughout the week in both intensity and expectation. State-of-the-art skill progressions are combined with challenging swim sets. Swimmers are challenged to maintain their newly acquired skills throughout each set. Each day begins with a powerful mental presentation emphasizing the important role that the mind plays in peak swimming performance. The underlying “positive mental message” is repeated throughout the day to heighten its impact and create lasting change. Each day of camp ends on a high note with swimmers feeling mentally, technically, and physically empowered.
In addition to our 8 challenging in-water training sessions, PEAK 1 also includes 4 intense dry-land training sessions, 3 swimming related yoga sessions, and 4 inspiring mental conditioning sessions.
Note: Peak 1 is not well suited for swimmers with swimming-related injuries.
Open to swimmers ages 8-18 who train between 3,000 to 5,000 yards/meters per practice.
PEAK 2 offers a 50/50 blend of technical and physical conditioning and well suited for medium to elite-level age group swimmers who have qualified for top age group competition in their state/province. Participants must possess the maturity and discipline to handle 4 hours of in-water training per day plus 1 hour of dry-land training per day. In addition, they must exhibit a high degree of technical competency and physical fitness. Participants must be able to perform all four competitive strokes and turns and the three competitive starts (front, back, relay).
Rather than offer a series of generic training sets, each practice is created to reflect the group’s needs and talent level. In addition, we do not condone garbage yardage or mindless meters. Each lap of practice must have purpose!
All-together PEAK 2 includes: 8 challenging in-water training sessions, 4 dry-land training sessions, 2-3 yoga sessions, and 4 mental conditioning sessions.
TOP 10 CLINIC
10 & Under swimmers are a unique group who require extra care and attention. That’s why we created a swim clinic just for them. Our goal is to develop well-rounded swimmers proficient in the three starts, the four strokes, and the four turns. In addition to numerous skill progressions and individual critiques throughout, we offer age appropriate physical challenges as well as fun aquatic games to round off each day. Space is very limited.
Camp Check-in and Orientation for both swimmers and parents is 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., on Friday, 2 November, at the Al Bustan Village Outdoor Pool. Swimmers will start camp immediately following, and should arrive wearing swimsuits underneath their dry-land clothing.
Camp concludes with our Gold Medal Award Ceremony beginning at approximately 8:45 p.m., on Monday, 5 November, conducted near the pool deck. Parents are invited to attend and should plan to pick-up their children promptly afterwards.

I just wanted to share our positive story! My son attended your Spring Camp in Orlando for the second time. For him, it was an another amazing experience like the first time. For me, as a mom, who attends every single practice every day, it has been rewarding because I have seen the progress in technique and attitude in practice as well as in meets. This past weekend we had our first meet since the camp, and it is with great pride and joy to tell you that all of my son’s times went down!!! And he is getting really close to qualifying for National LC Championships in Puerto Rico. His times not only went down, but they decreased significantly. In the 100m Free, his entry time was 1:27.00 and he finished first in his heat with 1:21.51!!! Every night when my son goes to bed, he reads Coach Baker’s book, 101 Winning Ways. Dear Coach Nick, Thank you for such an empowering camp experience. Throughout the camp, the coaches created a positive environment that served as a catalyst for positive change. Upon leaving the camp I felt physically stronger, technically better equipped, and most of all, mentally tougher. I had always been, as you put it, a race horse. I went to all the practices, but was always saving my energy for that one killer main set. I was in a survivalistic mindset that kept me in my comfort zone. Through your camp I have realized that staying in my comfort zone will not get me anywhere. As a result of your swim camp, I am mentally equipped and have been welcoming each challenge set back in club practice. I will continue to strive to become a Race-practice horse so as to maximize my gain and minimize my time. So far in the week of club swimming that I’ve had since the camp, I have made a conscious effort to keep what I learned in camp with me. I still wear the Swim Positive wrist band on my ankle every day. The wrist band really brings your philosophy into tangible form, and it really helps to remind me of everything I have learned.
