Boston, MA is our latest addition to our NEW weekend clinic series at our outstanding location at MIT in Cambridge! Attend our START-TURN-FINISH CLINIC for 11 & Over swimmers OR our specially-designed TOP 10 CLINIC for 10 & Under swimmers.
Open to age group and senior-level swimmers, ages 8-18, who currently compete at a local, regional, state, or national level. To maximize the benefits of the clinic, swimmers are assigned to lanes based on their current skill and performance level versus age.

His current duties include Head Coach of Boston Latin Academy and Assistant Coach at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, Massachusetts. Among his many coaching strengths, he is a master at identifying and maximizing swimmers’ individual strengths and has trained multiple swimmers to the state, national, and international level. Coach Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Camp Director Tim Regan
Directing camp is Gold Level PEAK Coach, Tim Regan. Coach Tim is entering his 9th year as a PEAK coach. He has been a professional swim coach for the past 15 years training swimmers to the regional, state, and zone level. In addition to his full time commitment to coaching, he has served as Vice President of the Westchester County Swimming Association for 10 years and is currently the Co-Chairman of Swim Across America. Coach Tim also trains triathletes in his limited spare time, having qualified more than 30 athletes for sprint and Ironman triathlons. He was a 4-year Varsity Letterman at Villanova University and a valued member of the school’s swim team.

START-TURN-FINISH CLINIC: Our 2-day Start-Turn-Finish Clinic covers the front, back, and relay start, the four-stroke turns, and the four wall finishes. It’s the complete package over one weekend! Starts and turns are the two weak links in racing costing vital seconds, but we have the solution! Our start progressions improve speed and distance off the block; and our turn progressions teach swimmers how to plan the wall, turn faster at the wall, and travel further underwater off the wall. Enhancing starts, turns, and finishes is a fast way to boost performance and a smart investment in the future. TOP 10 CLINIC: It’s finally here, a swim clinic exclusively designed for the 10 & Under swimmer! At PEAK, our mission is to get swimmers off to a fast start by teaching them the skills they need to win! 10 & Under swimmers are a unique group who require extra care, attention, and patience, so we created a swim clinic just for them. Our two-day format covers the three starts (front, back, and relay), the four strokes and turns, plus mini swim sets throughout the day. PEAK coaches are masters at teaching state-of-the-art technique, and our 6-to-1 swimmer-to-coach ratio is the lowest in the industry! Due to our low ratio, space is limited. Note: The Top 10 Clinic is not a learn-to-swim program, but specifically designed for aspiring young competitive swimmers. Throughout the clinic, swimmers perform multiple lengths of each stroke, including the Butterfly.

Check-In and Orientation for both swimmers and parents will take place Saturday, March 30 from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM at the lobby, located at the MIT Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center. Swimmers will start camp immediately following Check-In, and should arrive wearing swimsuits underneath their dry-land clothing.
Clinic concludes at 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 31. Our closing ceremony will be held at 3:00 PM before sign-out and dismissal. Parents are invited to attend.

Where can I find the Peak Health & Release Forms?
In order for a swimmer to participate in the camp, the mandatory Health & Release Form must be completed, signed, and turned in BEFORE the camp commences. The Health & Release Form can be found at swimcamp.com/forms/.
How do I schedule a private coaching session at camp?
There are a very limited number of private coaching sessions available during the spring swim clinics at the MIT Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center. These are offered first-come, first-serve at Camp Check-In. If you would like to place your name on the waitlist in advance, please email us at email@example.com.
Hourly private coaching sessions with a PEAK Senior Coach are $200.00. Sessions with Head Coach Nick Baker are $275.00. Please note that Private Coaching sessions are scheduled around the coaches’ availability (between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.) and may be subject to change due to weather and/or pool conditions.
How are swimmers grouped at camp?
Lane assignments will be based on your best 100 Free time. We will ask you to email us your best 100 Free time when we send out the registration packet before camp. If you do not submit the correct time, then there is a strong chance that you will be placed in the wrong lane, and will not fully benefit from the clinic training. Thank you for your assistance!

Empowering camp experience!
May 2, 2017: Coach Nick, Thank you for such an empowering camp experience. Throughout the camp, the coaches created a positive environment that served as a catalyst for positive change. Upon leaving the camp I felt physically stronger, technically better equipped, and most of all, mentally tougher. I had always been, as you put it, a race horse. I went to all the practices, but was always saving my energy for that one killer main set. I was in a survivalistic mindset that kept me in my comfort zone. Through your camp I have realized that staying in my comfort zone will not get me anywhere. As a result of your swim camp, I am mentally equipped and have been welcoming each challenge set back in club practice. I will continue to strive to become a Race-practice horse so as to maximize my gain and minimize my time. So far in the week of club swimming that I've had since the camp, I have made a conscious effort to keep what I learned in camp with me. I still wear the Swim Positive wrist band on my ankle every day. The wrist band really brings your philosophy into tangible form, and it really helps to remind me of everything I have learned. Each day brings a new challenge and because of your swim camp, I feel ready and happy to face what adversity might come. I will always remember those talks that you had with the Elite group before getting into the water. They really helped me by providing encouragement and hope. Whenever I dislike a set, I remember what you said about thinking about what helps me, rather than what I like. All in all, your swim camp has really changed my outlook on practice and swimming itself. Truly, you have changed my attitude towards the sport, and for that you have my utmost thanks. April 18, 2017: Hi Coach Baker, Another well run camp and an action packed two days!... Leslie was thrilled to be able to attend and even more pleased to find Coach Tim in her corner again...it was just like picking up from where we left off last camp in Mount Kisco! The timing couldn't have been better as we had an A-Champs meet the following weekend in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario and Lilah P.B.'d in all but one of her events.(definitely in response to some of the critical technique refinements and enthusiasm she gained from her time in Baltimore). Our Nickel City Aquatics team ended up taking 1st place overall at that meet for the small teams category. We can't thank you and your team enough for the dedication and care you put into your camps. It's been an honour and privilege to have taken part in these. We hope to meet again someday soon.
