Experience Peak's signature holistic training philosophy–mental, technical, physical, at our 4-STROKE CLINIC this Spring in Richmond, VA.
Open to age group and senior-level swimmers, ages 8-18, who currently compete at a local, regional, state, or national level. To maximize the benefits of the clinic, swimmers are assigned to lanes based on their current skill and performance level versus age.
Camp Director Tim Regan
Directing camp is Gold Level PEAK Coach, Tim Regan. Coach Tim is entering his 9th year as a PEAK coach. He has been a professional swim coach for the past 15 years training swimmers to the regional, state, and zone level. He also developed and directed Learn to Swim programs in San Diego, California, and Greenwich, Connecticut.View Tim Regan's Bio ⟩
In addition to his full time commitment to coaching, he has served as Vice President of the Westchester County Swimming Association for 10 years and is currently the Co-Chairman of Swim Across America. Coach Tim also trains triathletes in his limited spare time, having qualified more than 30 athletes for sprint and Ironman triathlons. He was a 4-year Varsity Letterman at Villanova University and a valued member of the school’s swim team.

A great camp curriculum means nothing unless you have a team of great coaches to implement it. Our passionate and experienced coaching team is comprised of stroke technicians, teachers, and motivators - who inspire our swimmers with their enthusiasm, knowledge, and love of swimming. All PEAK coaches fully endorse our mission statement, our holistic training approach, and positive coaching style. Staff availability varies and is subject to change per location.

Most swimmers have a best stroke, followed by the other three which can often lag far behind. The problem with this scenario is that the gap between the best stroke and the others can widen from year-to-year, putting swimmers at a severe disadvantage and limiting their future options. Being proficient in all four strokes is by far the best outcome, particularly for age-group swimmers.

Our two-day clinic places an equal emphasis on all four strokes. Saturday morning starts off with “all-things butterfly.” The process is repeated on Saturday afternoon with backstroke, Sunday morning with breaststroke, and Sunday afternoon with freestyle. Each stroke is divided into five parts with targeted performance-enhancing progressions for each.
Created by Olympic Coach Nick Baker, the clinic’s curriculum is second to none. Coach Baker has authored five books on swimming and produced four swimming videos. A 4-Stroke Handbook, to be used as a reference, is also included. The clinic offers many unique features and is ideally suited for swimmers eager to excel.
Check-In and Orientation for both swimmers and parents will take place at the Weight Room, located at the Swim RVA. Swimmers will start camp immediately following Check-In, and should arrive wearing swimsuits underneath their dry-land clothing.

Clinic concludes at 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 8. Our closing ceremony will be held at 4:00 PM before sign-out and dismissal. Parents are invited to attend.

Best time yet!
