The 2019 tennis camp at Agawam Hunt Club is an all-skills camp for youth tennis players in Rhode Island.
This day only program offers tennis players in Rhode Island a great opportunity to develop their skills and have fun over summer with the tennis coaches from Agawam Hunt Racquet Club.

Camp Director Jeffrey Hedden
Jeffrey Hedden is the current Interim Director of Racquets at the Agawam Hunt Club in Rumford, RI.View Jeffrey's Bio ⟩
Jeffrey was a former Rhode Island High School stand out and played division 1 college tennis at the University of Rhode Island. Jeffrey has experience teaching top nationally ranked juniors to teaching brand new players. Jeffrey's teaching philosophy revolves around adapting his coaching strategies to fit individuals needs.
We offer this tennis camp as a full day program from 9:00am-3:00pm each day. Campers will develop skills throughout the week as mornings will focus on drills and instruction, afternoon will focus on instructional match play.
2019 Camp Dates
- July 22-26 (Monday-Friday)
- August 5-9 (Monday-Friday)
Full Day Camp: 9:00am-3:00pm (Lunch is included for all campers)
Mornings consist of drilling, point play, conditioning and off court fun. Afternoons will focus on match play and other fun competitive games.
All sessions are open to players of all abilities. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
All Skills Program
The All Skills program is designed for tennis players of any skill level and background and includes concentrated work to develop the proper fundamentals and a mix of drilling and match play.
Monday-Friday: Drop off is at 8:30-8:45am for all campers at the tennis center. Campers should come dressed to play as well will get right into training.
Monday-Friday: Daily check out is at 3:00pm for all campers at the tennis center.
Campers will primarily utilize the grass and clay courts throughout camp.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
