All sessions are open to players of all abilities, unless otherwise noted. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

All Skills

This program is open to players of all ability levels. Here you’ll master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain game play experience. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving you a solid skill foundation to build upon after camp.

This camp is recommended for high school varsity (entering sophomore, junior or senior year) and club players with a commitment to the sport and the ability and motivation to play in college. This intense, challenging program will stress position play, advanced team techniques and match play all with high intensity. Get ready to work!

Position Specialty

This programs is designed for players who want to specialize in the Setter, Hitter, or Libero (Defensive Specialist) positions.

Beach Volleyball

Beach volleyball was added by the NCAA at the collegiate level in 2012 as a result of the sport's growing popularity. This program shows campers the ropes of beach volleyball by playing on smaller courts and seeing firsthand how intense it is to play doubles. Sand players train to become well rounded in all areas of the game.

We encourage campers to maximize their camp experience by attending consecutive camp sessions. Players have the option to attend all three sessions.

    Thanks Nike!

July 30, 2018: This was her last year at NIKE as she is a senior. She has really improved her skills over the last 4 years she has been attending. She went from being middle back to having skills to be libero! She will certainly miss Mary Ann, the staff and campers. Thanks NIKE! Bump! Set! Spike!!

    Time of her life

July 28, 2018: This was Chloe’s first time staying away from home. She was nervous, but as instantly reassured by the staff. She had the time of her life, meeting new people, team bonding, and of course gaining more skill in her favorite sport.

    Favorite camp

August 11, 2015: I recommend this camp for all stages of play because it focuses on each level. No matter what stage of play you are at you get the reps, attention, and help that you need. They coaches are amazing and very understanding! Out of my 10 years of playing volleyball this was the best camp I ever went to, As a varsity player I learned a lot that I can bring to the game at my own level.

    Can't wait for next year

July 31, 2015: We were very excited at the prospect of what Nike camp had to offer our daughter...and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere, campus and coaches were wonderful! We certainly plan for her to attend camp next year, even expand to two sessions instead. We can't wait for the season to start this year so we can see her improvement first hand!

    A+ Experience

My daughter experiences were unique for her during this camp. Campus life and gym facilities were excellent. Excellent place to make new friends. Coaching staff was very professional and knowledgeable. Coach Sprague and Coach Christina worked with my daughter and pushed her to the max. Both coaches inspired my daughter and helped her to understand that she needs to work hard and learn more about this sport to continue to excel while playing this sport. The camp did excellent work with my daughter skills. She was very excited about the beach volleyball camp. It was a new experience for my daughter. She had a good time playing beach volleyball and learned new skills for this sport. I hope the program is extended and continue to be offered. I do recommend these camps to other players and parents. A+

    Receive Personal Instruction

My oldest daughter raves about the campus. She says it reminds her of Hogwarts...My youngest loves the food. The camp attendance is smaller than other camps they have attended. They receive personal instruction. The groups are very structured and focused. A wonderful experience for both 1st timers and experienced campers

    Amazing Experience

"It was an incredible experience for my daughter Kaleigh. She didn't want to leave the camp and she said she wants to go for a week next time. She couldn't say enough about the coaches and staff and she was sad to leave. She also said she wants to attend Principia College and she hopes to play volleyball there. Thank you!"

    Personal Growth

"The Principia Volleyball Summer Camp experience was wonderful for my daughter. She went knowing no one and a rather shy child, and came home with friends and a stronger volleyball player. The combination of volleyball instruction and personal growth have helped her physically and mentally to be a more confident, well rounded child. I would not hesitate to send her again next year! Thanks for a great experience."

    Excellent camp

My daughter's awareness of the game increased 200%. Physical and technical abilities were developed and simple yet powerful techniques incorporated in her game play. Coaches where very attentive and had complete knowledge of the game and its fundamentals. Overall excellent camp, location, coaching and context. My personal thanks to MaryAnn for her attentions before and during and after the camp.
