Morgan came to Texas Wesleyan from the University of the Southwest where she served as head coach for two seasons. At USW, she quickly took the Mustangs from a 10-win season to the best record in program history at 24-9 in 2016. Under her guidance that season, USW advanced to the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) championship match while featuring eight all-conference selections. Overall, she holds a record of 34-29 as a collegiate head coach.
At USW Morgan also served as Student-Athlete Academic Support Liaison and guided the entire department to a 3.2 cumulative GPA, which won the RRAC GPA Championship in 2015-16.
Morgan has had previous collegiate coaching experience as an assistant at Missouri Southern State University, the University of Tulsa, and Southeastern Louisiana University. In her one season at Missouri Southern, the Lions doubled their win total from the previous season and equaled the program’s win total from the previous three seasons. At Tulsa, she served as Director of Volleyball Operations, overseeing team travel, game day operations, and running the Golden Hurricanes annual tournament. Morgan spent three and a half years as an assistant at Southeastern Louisiana, serving as the program’s recruiting coordinator and assisting with day-to-day operations.
In addition, Morgan served as a graduate assistant at Middle Tennessee State University. She also has had experience coaching at the club level in Atlanta, GA, Mandeville, LA, and Joplin, MO. She holds USA Volleyball CAP Level 1 and IMPACT certifications.
Morgan played four seasons at Belhaven University (Jackson, MS) where she was a two-year captain and an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. She helped the Blazers to the 2006 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championship. During her junior year she served four months as Interim Head Coach and later graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration and a minor in Sports Ministry.

Really loved the coaches and how they ecouraged the girls to keep playing volleyball!

Loved this camp
My daughter loved the coaches and instructors. They were very encouraging and patient. They never talked down to the girls or embarrassed them if they didn't pick up on a skill immediately like some coaches do. We also loved the way the camp was structured. Not a lot of down time.

Can't wait for next year
This was our first time at a Nike Volleyball camp but it will not be our last! The coaching staff was wonderful! I definitely saw improvement in my daughter’s skill level. She can't wait to go back next year!

My daughter learned so much during the Nike Camp. Every day she mentioned a new skill she had learned or how they re-trained her to do something correctly. Her play improved so much because of this. It was money well-spent.

Learn new skills
My daughter had a great experience at the Nike Volleyball Camp. She could not stop talking about the different skills she learned in camp. And most of all she could not wait to utilize those skills at her school practices and games.

Focus on core fundamentals
One of the best camps available. It was great for our daughter to meet other volleyball athletes and learn from each other as well as the coaching staff. The preparation of the staff is awesome. The focus on core fundamentals is great. I would recommend to anyone to attend and improve skills. I've seen the improvement in my daughter.

Money well spent
This camp was a wonderful chance to meet other girls that shared my passion for volleyball, and to work on the basic skills that sometimes get looked over in an average school practice. It was also helpful talking about being scouted, and what to do after high school. I learned a lot and know that when its a Nike camp, its money well spent.
Huge Confidence boost
"I could see a lot of improvement in Emily skills and her confidence. She made the 9th grade A team, before camp I'm not sure she would have made the B team. She will be going back next summer to get ready for Varsity."
Best camp she had ever attended
"My daughter has been to many VB camps over the last 4-5 years. After her first day in this camp she had already pronounced it as the BEST CAMP she had ever attended! The staff at Texas Weseyan did a really outstanding job. We feel that we got Great Value for the money we spent for our daughter to attend!!!
Great Overall Experience
"The Texas Wesleyan Volleyball Camp was one of the best experiences of my life. The small group made for better one on one coaching and we got to know everyone there better than we would have if it were a large camp. I can't wait to come back next year and get even better than I did this year."
"Quality of coaching was great. The feedback on player skills was very constructive and helpful."
Improved skills and increased confidence
"The camp improved her skills and increased her confidence on the court. I will definitely be taking her back next year."
