Camp Coaches

  • Blake Hall 150X150

    Blake Hall

    Camp Director

Blake Hall is in his fifteenth year as a head basketball coach and has had the privilege of leading Goose Creek High School for the past fourteen seasons. He is grateful to have helped build a respected program alongside dedicated players and coaches. During his tenure as a head coach, his teams have been fortunate to win nine region championships, four Lower State championships, and one state championship. Hall is especially proud of the 30 student-athletes who have gone on to play collegiate basketball and considers their achievements a testament to the program’s collective support. He has been honored with 11 Coach of the Year awards, viewing each as a reflection of his team’s hard work and character.

He has been honored with 11 Coach of the Year awards, viewing each as a reflection of his team’s hard work and character.

This past season, Hall guided Goose Creek to a 26–3 record, finishing as Lower State runner-up after a close loss in the championship game. During the 2024–2025 season, the team demonstrated resilience and unity, narrowly missing a state title in a double-overtime battle against Greenville High School and finishing with a 25–4 record. In 2022–2023, Goose Creek reached the Class AAAAA Lower State Championship game and finished as state runner-up after a narrow defeat to nationally ranked Dorman High School.

Hall’s first season at Goose Creek, in 2012–2013, was marked by the team’s trip to the Class AAAA State Championship game, competing against Irmo High School, the nation’s #12-ranked team. Since then, his teams have focused on growth, discipline, and a team-first mentality, striving to represent their school and community with integrity.

Before Goose Creek, Hall served as head basketball coach at North Charleston High School for the 2011–2012 season. That year, the Cougars won the Class AA State Championship—their first in fifteen years—a milestone he attributes to the commitment of the student-athletes and staff.

Hall’s earlier coaching experience includes time at The Citadel from 2008 to 2010, where he learned from a talented staff and witnessed the program’s growth, including a second-place finish in the 2009 Southern Conference. That period helped shape his perspective on coaching and the importance of supporting student-athletes’ development on and off the court.

He began his career as an assistant coach at Pinewood Preparatory School, his alma mater, in 2007. That season concluded with a SCISA Class AAA State Championship and a #13 national ranking—an experience that instilled in him a deep appreciation for teamwork and servant leadership. Hall remains committed to fostering a positive, growth-oriented environment for all those he is privileged to coach.
