Henry Meyer

Henry enters camp as one of the area’s rising young coaches and players, bringing high-level playing experience, energy, and passion for player development to the Nike Basketball Camp staff as Camp Head Coach.

A La Crosse Central graduate, Henry helped lead the program to a WIAA Division 2 State Runner-Up finish in 2022 and a State Semifinal appearance in 2023 while compiling an impressive 65-20 career record. He scored over 1,000 points in just two varsity seasons and established himself as one of the top players in the state through his competitiveness, toughness, and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.

Following high school, Henry began his collegiate career at Maryville University of Saint Louis, where he appeared in nine games before suffering a season-ending patellar tendon injury. After battling through rehab and recovery, he transferred to University of Jamestown and appeared in every game during the season, averaging 14 minutes per game while continuing to grow at the collegiate level. He posted season highs of 10 points against Southern Nazarene and NDSU and will return to Jamestown for his redshirt sophomore season.

Henry brings a player-first mindset to camp and understands what it takes to compete, overcome adversity, and develop at the next level. His passion for teaching the game, attention to detail, and ability to connect with young athletes make him a tremendous leader for this year’s Nike Basketball Camp.
