Jaimie Robinson
Jumps & Combined Events Coach
Jaimie Robinson brings an extraordinary competitive pedigree to the Nike Track & Field Camp in Chicagoland. A native of Flossmoor, Illinois, Robinson is one of the most decorated prep and collegiate jumpers to come out of the state. As a senior at Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 2017, she captured Illinois state championships in the long jump, triple jump, and 200 meters, setting an Illinois all-class record in the triple jump with a mark of 13.01m (42-8½) — personally accounting for 36 of her team's 43 points at the state meet to lead them to a second-place finish. That same year, Robinson earned a silver medal at the Pan American U20 Track and Field Championships in Trujillo, Peru, and won the triple jump at the U.S. Junior Championships in Sacramento, California.
Robinson began her collegiate career at Alabama, where she qualified for the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Championships in the triple jump, before continuing her career at Oregon, where she placed fifth at the Pac-12 Championships in 2021. She completed her collegiate career at Ohio State, where she emerged as one of the Big Ten's premier jumpers. A two-time Big Ten Champion in the triple jump (2022) and Big Ten runner-up the following season, Robinson was also a three-time NCAA Championships qualifier, a 2022 USATF Championships triple jump finalist, and a three-time USTFCCCA Second-Team All-American.
Now an assistant coach at the University of Illinois, Robinson focuses on jumps and combined events, and is eager to bring her wealth of experience from Illinois prep fields to the national stage to the athletes at camp.
