Callahan's 1999 squad finished 17-3 and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals, while the Blue Jays reached the second round of the NCAA tournament on two other occasions.

Since 2019, Callahan has served as a head coach with the Hymax Field Hockey Club led by Goucher alum Michelle Webber '99.
