The Unversity of Mary Washington Nike Field Hockey Camp is a wonderful camp for all levels. Location is good, housing and meals are good, playing field is good. They provide great coaches and instruction, and everyone appears to love the sport of field hockey. If looking for a safe, overnight camp with exellent instruction, this is a great choice. My daughter has been to this camp for 3 years in a row now, and just loves it.

My daughter has an extremely high passion for this sport. She loves playing and learning to be a better player. This camp had wonderful coaches with much knowledge they have gained in national and international playing levels. We were very lucky to have the coaches we had this year. Very pleased with the entire program and we are looking forward to attending this same camp again next year.

The facility was outstanding and room accommodations were great. Food at cafeteria was very good in general. She felt she received excellent instruction and learned many new skills. She described it in brief to me as “super fun.” A very positive first sleepaway camp experience. She looks forward to returning next year.

The highlight of my experience was playing in the night sessions. I highly enjoyed playing in team USA and our coach (Cori) was amazing.

It was so much fun! We were given lots of water breaks throughout each session. The food was great. The camp was very intense and you definitely had to work hard but it payed off because I could see improvement after just a few days!

Coach Lindsey Elliott and her staff were awesome. I've been to three team camps and I believe this one helped me the most to improve my field hockey skills. The combination of fundamentals, individual evaluations, strategies and team play helped me learn the most. This was the best value of cost to benefit of the camps I've attended.

This was my first field hockey camp and i didn't know what to expect. It offered a lot of learning opportunities about skills and what to expect at college level (college night). I really enjoyed this camp along with my team. This camp helped build my self esteem about my playing abilities and about myself as a person. The coaches were very informative and motivational. The overall atmosphere of the camp was comfortable and not stressed. Any camper should have fun if they really like field hockey.

The Nike Field Hockey Camp experience at the University of Mary Washington is one your daughter will never regret attending. Fantastic coaches, excellent instruction and an inclusive atmosphere located on a beautiful campus - what's not to like? We will be back again next summer.

The organization by the staff was excellent from the minute you arrived for check-in. I was really impressed how organized the entire camp was. I intend to send my granddaughter next year. The only other thing I will do differently is to have her stay overnight for the three days. Keep up the good work and keep hiring the exceptional coaches and staff.
