Blending traditional soccer fundamentals with engaging activities such as songs, stories, and interactive play, SideKicks transforms training sessions into joyful adventures that help young athletes build coordination, confidence, and a genuine love for soccer.
Grounded in a strong developmental philosophy, Soccer SideKicks focuses on meeting each player where they are, providing age‑appropriate instruction that nurtures growth at every stage. Coaches are carefully vetted, highly trained, and dedicated to being positive mentors, role models, and champions of child development, using methods that keep players encouraged, included, and excited to learn.
While younger players thrive through imaginative play and early motor‑skill development, older and more experienced players benefit from focused technical training, confidence‑building instruction, and opportunities to strengthen their soccer IQ, all delivered in a fun yet challenging environment that inspires improvement and keeps the game exciting. This balanced approach ensures that players of all backgrounds leave sessions feeling happier, more confident, and more skilled than when they arrived.
With programs offered in partnership with schools, daycares, and community locations nationwide, Soccer SideKicks has earned the trust of families seeking meaningful, development‑driven soccer experiences for their children. Its commitment to fostering creativity, confidence, and lifelong enjoyment of the game has positioned Soccer SideKicks as a leader in early youth soccer education.
Through play‑based learning, professional curriculum design, and an unwavering dedication to positive player development, Soccer SideKicks continues to redefine what youth soccer can be, fun, imaginative, and truly transformative for every child who joins the adventure.
CAMP CURRICULUM - WHO IS THIS CAMP FOR?
The SoccerSidekicks Nike Soccer Camp is built around one goal: helping every child grow while having an incredible time on the field. Using SoccerSidekicks’ nationally recognized early‑childhood development model, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to meet players where they are, by age, ability, and experience, so each camper feels confident, supported, and appropriately challenged throughout the week. While all campers share the same fun‑first, kid‑centered philosophy, training is delivered through two age‑specific curriculums to ensure the best possible experience for every player.
Ages 4–8: Early Childhood Soccer Development
SoccerSidekicks is the national leader in early childhood soccer development, and this curriculum is what truly sets our camp apart. Designed specifically for young players, the 4–8 program focuses on fun, discovery, movement, and confidence‑building in a safe, energetic, and nurturing environment.
Each day is filled with imaginative games, age‑appropriate activities, and playful challenges that encourage kids to explore the ball, improve coordination, and develop basic soccer skills, often without even realizing they’re “training.” Sessions emphasize:
- Ball familiarity and basic foot skills
- Balance, agility, and overall body movement
- Listening skills, teamwork, and social development
- Confidence, independence, and joy in play
With high coach‑to‑player engagement and positive encouragement at every step, younger campers are supported individually and celebrated for effort, creativity, and progress. For many children, this is their first structured soccer experience, and the goal is for them to leave smiling, proud, and excited to come back.
Ages 9–12: Skill Foundation & Growth
For older campers, the week introduces an extended curriculum designed to build on existing skills while maintaining the fun and supportive SoccerSidekicks culture. This program is ideal for players with some soccer experience who are ready for more technical challenges and greater understanding of the game.
Training sessions focus on:
- Technical skill development (dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting)
- Small‑sided games to encourage decision‑making and creativity
- Movement, spacing, and basic tactical awareness
- Confidence on the ball and preparation for higher levels of play
Players are encouraged to compete, problem‑solve, and challenge themselves at an appropriate level, with coaches providing individualized feedback and motivation.
What Makes This Camp Different?
Unlike traditional camps, SoccerSidekicks does not take a one‑size‑fits‑all approach. Groups may begin by age but are thoughtfully adjusted based on ability and experience to ensure every player is engaged and improving. Our coaches specialize in working with children, especially younger players, and understand how kids learn best.
Whether it’s a child’s very first kick or the next step in their soccer journey, this camp is designed to help every camper feel successful, supported, and inspired to love the game.
HEAT & INCLEMENT WEATHER
At Nike Soccer Camps and Soccer Sidekicks, the safety and well‑being of our campers is always the top priority. Our experienced camp staff is prepared for a wide range of weather conditions and has clear plans in place to ensure a safe, fun, and positive soccer experience.

- The field features ample shaded areas and a gazebo used for rest breaks and shelter during rain
- Water stations are available throughout camp
- Cooling tents with water misters and fans will be provided to help campers stay cool
- Sunscreen stations are provided (staff cannot apply sunscreen but can demonstrate; sunscreen should be applied before camp)
While weather can be unpredictable, families can feel confident knowing our staff is prepared for all scenarios, keeping campers safe and having fun is always our top priority.
SUPERVISION, SAFETY & TRANSPORTATION
Supervision & Safety
Campers are supervised at all times by trained, caring staff members who are experts in working with young players. Coaches are actively involved in every activity, ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive experience throughout the camp day, including training sessions, breaks, and transitions. For our youngest campers, parents are welcome to stay at camp if needed to help their child feel comfortable, though it is rarely necessary thanks to our experienced, child‑focused staff and supportive environment.
Senior staff members are trained in first aid and prepared to respond quickly to minor injuries or illness. In the event a camper becomes ill or requires medical attention, parents or guardians will be contacted immediately. For serious emergencies, appropriate medical services will be engaged right away.
Pickup & Transportation
Transportation is not provided. Campers must be dropped off and picked up by a parent or authorized caregiver during official camp hours. At the end of each day, children must be collected directly from camp staff and properly signed out—no child will be permitted to leave camp without an authorized parent or a pre‑identified caregiver. For the safety of all campers, early drop‑off and late pick‑up are not permitted.
