  A native of Scotland, Ben has spent the past 13 years coaching in the United States, working across 10 states and calling California home for the last decade. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation as a premier youth coach, particularly known for his expertise in long‑term technical development and helping players reach their full potential. Among his most meaningful accomplishments is the success of the players he has coached, many of whom now compete at the highest levels of the youth game.

  Ben has guided players into elite pathways including the U.S. Soccer National Team Training Center, U.S. Soccer Development Academy (USSDA), ECNL, NPL, and NorCal Premier League, with current players selected into the highly competitive NorCal PDP and IDP programs. These achievements reflect not only his technical knowledge, but also his ability to prepare players for the demands of the modern game.

  Known for his exceptional preparation and clear communication, Ben holds himself to the highest professional standards. He is deeply involved in every aspect of planning, from individual training sessions to long‑term Future Development Plans (FDPs), and is always accessible to players and families for feedback and guidance. This attention to detail is evident in the quality, structure, and intensity of the training environments he creates.

  Ben’s passion for the game and genuine commitment to developing young players define his coaching philosophy. He believes that being an exceptional coach requires understanding both the game and the people who play it.
