The 2025 squad recorded its most points in WCC play in five seasons, highlighted by a 5–1 win over LMU in the final match of the year, and finished the season 5-8-3.

He also led the CSUB Soccer mentoring program, connecting student-athletes with local organizations to promote youth engagement and emphasize education, discipline, and leadership.

McGaughey began his collegiate playing career at Tyler Junior College, where he was a two-time First Team All-America selection and helped lead the Apaches to the 2012 NJCAA National Championship. In 2022 the Redhawks finished the season with a 7-10-1 record and completed their 10th straight top-4 finish in the WAC standings. After defeating Grand Canon in the opening round of the WAC tournament, the season came to an end with a loss to San Jose State in the semifinals.

Daligcon helped SU through its abbreviated Spring 2021 season, as the Redhawks won six matches and advanced to the WAC Tournament semifinals.

In 2019, the Redhawks returned to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in seven years. They finished the season on a 16-game unbeaten streak, the longest active streak in the nation entering the 2020 campaign. SU won an NCAA Tournament game for the fourth straight appearance, winning at Loyola Marymount, 3-1, before tying at Stanford in the second round.

The 2018 season saw SU continue its string of success, as the Redhawks won 13 games. They are one of just four Division I programs to win at least 11 games in each of the last six seasons. For a third straight year, Seattle U saw at least one of its players get drafted, as seniors Sergio Rivas and Nathan Aune were both selected by San Jose in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.

In 2017, the Redhawks won their third WAC Championship in the last five years and won an NCAA Tournament match for third time since 2013. Daligcon was key in SU winning 15 games, marking its fifth consecutive season with at least 11 wins. The Redhawks are one of just three Division I programs to win 11 or more games in each of the last five years.

Daligcon has played a large role in the Redhawks' surge of recent success, including a Sweet Sixteen appearance, a pair of NCAA Tournament showings, and a WAC Championship. In 2016, Seattle U went 7-0 at Championship Field, extending its home win streak to 16 games-the longest active streak in Division I entering the 2017 season.

With Daligcon's leadership, the Redhawks improved their win total by eight in 2013, going undefeated in conference play, and winning the conference regular season and tournament titles. The Redhawks also made the program's first ever appearance in the NCAA Division I tournament, defeating Creighton, 2-1, in the First Round.

Daligcon has been a head coach for several local club teams since 2004, most recently serving as head coach of Seattle United B01 Copa and G95 Copa. He led Emerald City FC G93 A to the 2005 Washington State Cup championship, plus guided two other squads to the state cup finals. He has also served as an assistant men's soccer coach at Seattle Pacific since 2009.

Daligcon was a two-time All-American at Seattle Pacific, helping the Falcons win the 1993 Division II national championship and advance to three national semifinal games as a center midfielder. He played in the A-League from 1996 through 2002, winning four league titles (three with the Rochester Rhinos, one with the Seattle Sounders), as well as the 1999 U.S. Open Cup championship as a member of the Rochester Rhinos.

Daligcon received his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with a marketing concentration from Seattle Pacific University, plus he holds a USSF "A" coaching license.

    Erik Skipper

Assistant Coach - Seattle Pacific University

“I’m really excited to have Skip working with us on a full time basis,” Collings said. “Skip and I have known each other since our playing days at SPU and to get to work together now is pretty cool for both of us. The dynamics in our office are great with both Jimmy Ward and Skip, I feel really fortunate to come to work every day with these guys.”

During Skipper’s four seasons as a volunteer, he helped guide SPU to a 48-13-14 record, including a 26-4-9 home mark at Interbay Stadium.

The Falcons made three consecutive NCAA Division II Tournament appearances, two of them as the No. 1 seed in the West Region. They won the 2014 and 2015 Great Northwest Athletic Conference championships.

“The fact that Skip has been with us the past four years as a volunteer should make for a really smooth transition. His contributions the past four years have been immense, so I’m excited to see what he’s able to do in a full time role,” said Collings.

“His promotion will allow us to continue moving forward as a program and also means that he will get to start implementing some of his ideas a little faster than if we were starting with someone that didn’t have the same familiarity with SPU. Erik’s passion for SPU and knowledge of the game make him a great mentor for all of the guys in our program.”

The four-year letterman on the Seattle Pacific men's soccer team from 1998 to 2001 started 69 of the 74 games he played as a collegian. Skipper netted 16 career goals for the Falcons, half of them (8) game-winning strikes. Skipper tallied five game-winning goals as a junior in 2000. He distributed 12 assists as a Falcon.

He compiled three goals and one assist as a freshman in 1998, starting all 23 games for an SPU squad that advanced to the national semifinals.

Skipper was also an outstanding student at SPU and as a senior received the prestigious Falcon Award for Excellence, the school’s highest honor issues to student-athletes, taking into account her academic, athletic and leadership qualities.

The 2002 Seattle Pacific graduate worked as a math teacher at Seattle’s Blaine Middle School from September 2006 through June 2014 and has been active in local club soccer coaching.

Skipper takes over the top assistant coaching position vacated by Kevin Reiman, who was hired as an assistant on the Xavier (Ohio) men’s soccer staff. A former MLS player with Real Salt Lake, Reiman served four seasons at SPU.
