at Nike Volleyball Camps

Lovett Volleyball Nike Camp will be an incredible experience for your middle school athlete!

Led by 2024 AVCA Coach of the Year and 2025 State Champion Coach Cheryl Weaver, this camp is powered by the state champion Lovett School volleyball program, which was also ranked No. 36 in the nation this past season. Athletes will train in a high-level, supportive environment designed to develop skills and confidence.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn from reigning Penn State Nittany Lions women’s volleyball national champion players, as well as AVCA All-Americans, current AVCA High School Players of the Year, and Gatorade Player of the Year honorees.

This is a unique opportunity to receive elite training while having a lot of fun along the way.

    Camp Director

    Cheryl Weaver is an experienced volleyball coach, former professional athlete, and nationally recognized leader in player development. With a coaching career that spans high school and national levels, she has helped athletes earn AVCA All-Region and All-American honors, Player of the Year awards, and selections to the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program (NTDP).

    As the former Director of Player Development at The Volleyball Factory, Cheryl led national tryouts, evaluated top-level talent, and guided student-athletes through the college recruitment process. Her expertise in on-court operations, talent assessment, and athlete mentorship has consistently produced results at the highest levels.

    Cheryl’s athletic career is one of distinction. A three-time Gatorade State Player of the Year and USA Today Fab Fifty selection, she was the nation’s #1-ranked recruit as a senior middle blocker. At Long Beach State University, she won a National Championship, was named a three-time First-Team AVCA All-American, and earned Big West Conference Player of the Year honors twice. She went on to play professionally for over eight years and represented the USA National Team from 2002 to 2012.

    Cheryl Weaver is known for her high standards, competitive drive, and ability to build athletes of character. Her leadership continues to impact the volleyball community and inspire the next generation of elite players.

    Our Camp Director will be assisted by a talented staff which may include current and former collegiate coaches and players, club coaches, high school coaches, and current Varsity players at the Lovett School.

Camp Details

JUNE 15-18: ALL SKILLS

  • Open To: Girls, Ages 10-15. *Incoming Freshmen who have been admitted to The Lovett School are not permitted to attend camp per Georgia State rules.
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
  • Check-In: 15 minutes prior to camp start time. Due to construction on campus this summer, all students must enter through the back gate from Northside Drive. If you are using GPS, please enter Northgate Drive NW as your destination. Parents should enter through the back gate, drop off in front of the Murray Athletic Center and will be escorted by counselors to Wallace Gymnasium. Families should exit through the back gate as well.
  • Lunch: Lunch is provided.
  • Program: Offers high-energy training focused on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Athletes will build a solid foundation and boost confidence in a positive, energetic environment. Recommended for all positions and abilities. Campers may be grouped by age, skill, or experience at the Director’s discretion.

THE LOVETT SCHOOL EXTENDED CARE

  • Breakfast Bunch (Pre-Care): 7:30am-9:00am
  • Details: Be an early bird! Join your friends for breakfast for all campers who arrive by 8:30 am. Play with a variety of board games, computer games, and enjoy free play on the playground. At 8:45am, counselors will accompany you to your registered camp. Sign up here.
  • Jungle Gym (After-Care): 3:00pm-6:00pm
  • Details: Need extra time for pickup after the camp day? Join us for organized activities, such as arts and crafts, cooking, and sports and games. Sign up here.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Daily volleyball training
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
  • Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!
  • Facility: Indoor courts
  • Medical Protocol: Our camp will have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
  • Transportation: Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Volleyball form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Facility

The Lovett School is located on 100 acres on the banks of the Chattahoochee River in northwest Atlanta, Georgia. Campers will utilize the indoor courts on campus.

  • Address: Wallace Gym - 4075 Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30327. The camp takes place at The Lovett School, a high school campus. Led by camp director Cheryl Weaver. Popular with families from Smyrna, Decatur, Marietta, Mableton, and other nearby towns.

  • Sessions are $555 for a 4-day camp. A deposit secures your spot, with the balance due by the 1st day of the month prior to camp starting.

  • This camp is for athletes ages 10 to 15, girls only. All skill levels welcome. Campers may be grouped by age, skill, or experience.

  • One session: June 15 to June 18, 2026. Select the session above to register.

  • This is a day camp running 9 AM to 3 PM.

  • Yes! To save your spot at camp, a deposit is due at registration:

    • $100 for Day and Half Day camps

    • $200 for Overnight and Extended Day camps

    • Camps under $100 must be paid in full at registration.

    Your remaining balance is due on the 1st of the month before your camp begins:

    • June camps → due May 1

    • July camps → due June 1

    • August camps → due July 1

    Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days before camp will forfeit all fees paid and be removed from the camp.

  • For any on-site questions or concerns—such as group placement, details regarding the daily schedule, or your camper’s overall experience—please reach out directly to the onsite contact.

    You can find the onsite contact information in your Customer Portal by going to the “My Enrollments” tab and clicking the “Prepare for Camp Here” button. Please note that this information will be available at least two weeks prior to the start of camp.

  • Volleyballs will be distributed on the final day of camp at check-out. Please be sure to check in with your camp director before leaving to collect your ball.
