This is related to the Position Specialty Camp (Hitter). My daughter was on the younger / less experienced side but the coaches and other players were encouraging and helped her improve.

Instruction was very hands on and motivational. They told you what you were doing wrong but with a positive outlook on what you could do to be better. Having the players as coaches made it a lot better because those girls used to be in the exact position we were in. Overall, just a great camp.

I am from Canada and I traveled all the way from Montreal to Sacred Heart University to do this camp. I really wanted to improve my volleyball skills, so I stayed for 3 sessions. The many drills we did really allowed me to practice and get better. Even though I did not know anyone, I made some great friends and the coaches are super nice! If you like volleyball and want to improve in a friendly, but intense environment, the Nike Volleyball Camp at Sacred Heart University is perfect for you!

I had an awesome time at the Sacred Heart University NIKE Volleyball Camp. I met great friends, coaches, and most importantly grew as a volleyball player. I would recommend the advanced program to players who want a challenging but reasonable camp.

I definitely would recomend Nike Volleyball Camps. The SHU camp was a wonderful experience. I was pushed out of my comfert zone which caused me to really excel and push myself to the next level. Instruction was great. I learned what the true meaning of team is and what it takes to win. I promise you you would not be let down while attending a Nike Volleyball Camp.

Nike volleyball camp has taught me how to be aggressive and competitive, along with learning how to be positive and support and cheer on my team. The camp has made me confident in playing and I improved tremendously within the 4 days. It was some of the most intense, sore, and memorable 4 days of my life. I would do it 100 times again

My daughter loved Nike VB Camp at SHU so much. She said it was the best sports camp she has been to and she has attended many BB and VB camps over the years. The instructors taught her so many new skills and had such positive attitudes. Overall, GREAT experience.

I would highly recommend the camp. The instructors are of high caliber and they know the game very well. They are not lazy and they care about the kids and look at where the player needs help. I will come back it's a awesome camp.

The campus was gorgeous and the facility nice and clean so it was a good experience for my daughter who is in highschool and going to be thinking about colleges soon.

Lillie liked interacting with the coaches and getting the perspective of college volleyball players. I was pleased that the players were leveled according to their ability and that Lillie received rigorous training and feedback.

There were so many highlights! The individualized attention given to Carli (and each camper) was incredible and an absolute high point of her time there. How each coach knew Carli by name, skill, needs, goals was simply incredible. How the staff went above and beyond to make her feel encouraged and confident in herself and her skills was more than we could have imagined.

This camp was well run and organized. It was very structured and campers were grouped according to the general ability which is a very basic need for skills to improve. My daughter found this camp to be very helpful and enjoyable and we will be very likely to return next year.

This was my daughter’s favorite camp experience ever! Highly organzied camp in a remarkable facility on a beautiful campus! Definitely has the wow-factor! My middle school aged daughter was a day camper for the All Skills and Position Specialty sessions. The coaches and college players as counselors were fantastic, they were great role models! They made every day so much fun while keeping her focused on working to improve her skills. She made a bunch of new friends, won some camp contests, even raved about the cafeteria’s lunch/dinner food! It couldn’t have been a more positive overall experience! We hadn’t even left the gym on the last day and my daughter was already begging to return next summer! Thank you!!

Sacred Heart is a great facility, very easy to reach from Manhattan -- the camp is very challenging. My daughter plays on a travel team and starts for her school's JV team -- she learns a lot each summer. The facility is great -- the dorms are beautiful, clean, and my daughter says the food is great. She has gone two years in a row. Both Nathalie and I think the camp is terrific -- she is happy being in a challenging environment and not being the best person on the team, perhaps because we have always taught her that you don't want to be the best person on the court -- that's not how you improve. She got a lot of play time because she was the only middle on her team -- that was a bonus. She is still growing and improving her skills at this camp, which is what any parent would want. Thank you!

Very good camp for beginners and advance players alike. The atmosphere is safe and a team spirit is encouraged. The coaches are great and are truly fun to be around. The food is excellent as well. I would definitely go again!

Attending the Nike Volleyball Camp at SHU was a great introduction to competitive play to my soon to be high school daughter. Having no formal training before camp except for recreational volleyball town camps, this was a great insight and experience to let her know what to expect as she tries out for the high school team this fall.

I think the coaches really made it fun because they were from the college team and showed us what a real team looks like. Also the specialty camp was fun because each coach taught their own specialty so they knew what they were talking about.

Learning new techniques, modeling by very talented players, and staying in the dorm and the good food :) My daughter was one of the youngest participants but she said the older kids and counselors were very welcoming and encouraging. Overall it was a great experience for her! Thank you!
