I absolutely loved this camp! I learned so much, and I both my skill and knowledge of the game improved greatly. After attending this, I had school volleyball tryouts and made varsity as a freshman.

I definitely recommend UW Platteville Nike Volleyball camp to others. My daughter went three times and each time came home with a higher skill level and full of volleyball knowledge and confidence to implement what she learned.

This is the first year my daughter attended the Nike Volleyball Camp. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this camp to all players who want to increase their skill set and receive instruction from knowledgeable staff in a safe setting. This camp challenge my daughter to bring her game to another level and find the strength within herself to rise to it. Exposed to higher skilled instructors that seem to really care to instill a love for their sport and willing spirit to pass it on to the next generation.

Our daughter had a very good experience. Despite the beastly heat (and no a/c in the rooms), she really enjoyed the instruction and the friendships that she made. She is very proud to wear her U of W rip it shirts at school volleyball practices and has kept in touch with a number of the girls that she met at camp. A good experience and the perfect amount of time away from home. P.S. the frozen yogurt every night was amazing for our camper AND the social time was great. They were treated respectfully and given certain freedoms that were appropriate. Very fun!

This camp means business! If you are serious about improving your volleyball game, this is the camp for you. My daughter learned more in that week than she did with her club team last fall. It was excellent!

Nike Volleyball Camp at UW-Platteville was very organized. It didn't take long to check-in, meet my roommate, and off to begin a session. I really liked that my coach was a college coach to push me to the next level.

It teaches players to play as a team but at the same time works on each players ability. And really takes you outside of your comfort zone without anybody making fun of you.

Our daughter came out of camp and said she wants to go back next year! She loved everything about it! As a parent, we appreciated the daily e-mails, and more importantly the work they did mentally over the physical skills.

We just moved here from a North Carolina and Kaylee was very nervous about coming because she has always had a group over friends to go with her on overnight camps. Well, I’m pushy and I made her come and I’m so glad she did!! She made a couple of new friends and she said it’s the best camp she has ever been to! She cannot wait until next year! She has already asked a few girls from her school to come! Thanks for everything!

Abigale liked the encouragement from staff and their knowledge of the game. They helped her improve her skills in all areas. She really enjoyed when they scrimmaged against each other.

Jadyn went on her own and has attending other camps and thought this was the best one. She was able to build her skills, friendships were made, and most of all she had fun! She had nothing but raves about the food.

This camp helped with improving her skills! She played in a tournament after checking out of camp, and it was so fun to watch how much she had improved in 4 short days. Very organized! My daughter had a blast & walked away with a visible improvement in skills. Great camp!

I liked the low number of older girls so there were more opportunities for individualized learning. Lily has been to camps where there are 100+ campers and the smaller size was a plus. Lily LOVED it...already talking about going back next year!

Nike Volleyball Camp at UW-Platteville was a terrific camp. I have been to others offered at other colleges and this one is the best by far. I learned so much about the things I need to improve on and how to go about improving them. Definitely will be back!

It's intense and busy, and the instructors pay attention to the girls ability level and needs. The coaches teach to the girls individual level yet still push them to make them better players.

I really liked the specific training we got in our positions. For instance, when we got to choose which group we wanted to practice in, depending on the position we wanted to learn about. I thought that I really improved in the area I wanted to improve in.

I made loads of new friends! My dorm roommates are going to be some of my friends for a while! Everyone at Platteville was very nice and welcome to new friends which was amazing! All of the practice sessions were very well run and that excited me as a player!

Rowan felt that the sessions were beneficial and that instructors really helped out with individual needs. As primarily and defensive specialist, she was very happy that she was allowed to hit, as well!

This camp is very helpful and fun! I enjoyed it very much, as it was my second year attending it. I think the teachers and helpers are very good at what they do and they should keep up.

This camp does a good job of testing kids on skills and then has them do drills in peer groups. There are varying degrees of experience and it's important kids are given the opportunity to excel, rather than be slowed down by those with lacking skills.
