Camp Overview

Join NBC Basketball Camps in Coeur d'Alene, ID for an awesome camp experience. This skill intensive camp is perfect for boys ages 12-16 who want to elevate their game in a high-energy environment.

NBC Camps are coming to North Idaho College, located on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene. NBC stands for Nothing Beats Commitment and has been running camps since 1971.

Camps focus on confidence, goal setting, mental toughness, leadership, intensity, athletic and life skill mastery, the importance of personal faith and Christian values of integrity, compassion, and that each person is a miracle. Camps are intense and are for those who love basketball enough to work hard. Come have a blast and take your game to the next level with us this summer!

Highlights Include

  • 6-10 hours of skill training, games and player development each day based on age appropriateness and ability
  • Camp workbook trains campers in goal setting, mental toughness, elevating confidence, and leadership on and off the court

    Marc Axton played profession basketball overseas for many years. He is 6'6' and a great shooter. He is passionate about helping young men improve their game and live lives of excellence. He was a former NBC Camper, a master teacher and now director.

    Unlike other camp programs where skills training falls under the expertise of the camp director, NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person. Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp and facilitating the implementation of our specific camp expectations. Our basketball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level. Though coaching styles and drills may change, our master teachers receive resources, lesson plans, and detailed training on how to maximize the camp experience. Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team. With 50 years of successful history, our goal is to give you the best basketball and life skills instruction possible.

NBC Basketball Camp at North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is an intensive training program for athletes who love basketball enough to work hard.

2026 Basketball Summer Camp

Complete Player INTENSIVE Basketball Camp
Dates: July 6-9 Age Group: Boys 12-16 years old

Dates: July 13-16 Age Group: Girls 13-17 years old

Check-in Time: 12:30 pm on first day
Parent Orientation: 1:00 pm and 1:20 pm
Intensity Night: Wednesday at 8:00 pm
Closing Program: 3:00 – 4:00 pm on last day

DAILY TIMES & CAMP INFORMATION

OVERNIGHT CAMP SCHEDULE
First-day check-in begins at 12:30 pm for overnight and extended-day campers.
Last-day check-out at 4:00 pm.

EXTENDED DAY CAMP SCHEDULE
First day: 12:30 pm-9:00 pm. Dinner provided.
Middle days: 9:00 am-9:00 pm. Lunch and dinner are provided.
Last day: 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Lunch provided.

Extended-day campers DO NOT sleep on campus or eat breakfast on campus.

ROOMMATES & HOUSING

Roommates for this site need to be requested at least two weeks before camp begins. If you have no preference, we will match you with a camper of the same gender and similar age. Contact [email protected] if you need to add a roommate request.

Bathrooms: Suite style. Campers share a common bathroom

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER

Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own ball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival and meals.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

North Idaho College is located on the world-famous Lake Coeur d'Alene. Campers have access during supervised free time for lake swimming. Campers will be staying in the dorms at North Idaho College's new multi-million dollar facility. Rooms are air-conditioned and each suite houses three to four campers with individual private showers and facilities. You do not need to request a roommate before camp begins. When you sign up for a room, have your preferred roommate with you. If you have no preference, we will match you with someone of the same gender and similar age. The cafeteria provides all-you-can-eat selections. North Idaho College has one college-size gym on campus and campers alternate busing to nearby local gyms for greater floor space for games and training. The evening program is located in a large event room in the student center.
