Assistant Coach - Endicott College

Dirk Vandeveer - Assistant Coach - Endicott College

Dirk Vandeveer serves as an Assistant Coach with the Endicott women’s soccer program, bringing extensive NCAA Division I coaching, recruiting, and player development experience to the Gulls. His coaching background includes stops at Dartmouth College, Boston College, and George Mason University, as well as experience with the NWSL’s Washington Spirit. Vandeveer holds a U.S. Soccer National “F” License along with NSCAA Regional, Advanced, Premier, and National Diplomas.

Vandeveer brings an extensive coaching and recruiting résumé to Endicott. Prior to joining the Gulls, he served as an assistant coach with the Dartmouth College women’s soccer program during the 2024-25 season, helping the Big Green to a 7-6-3 record.

Before Dartmouth, Vandeveer spent two seasons at Boston College as an assistant women’s soccer coach and recruiting coordinator. At BC, he was responsible for recruiting top-tier student-athletes to compete in the ACC while assisting with the development of field players and goalkeepers and supporting the program’s daily operations.

Vandeveer also enjoyed a successful 13-year tenure at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. From 2009 to 2022, he served as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the women’s soccer program after a brief stint as an assistant coach with the men’s team. During his time with the Patriots, he recruited 16 student-athletes who earned A-10 postseason honors and helped the program make three A-10 Conference semifinal appearances and one quarterfinal appearance.

While in Northern Virginia, Vandeveer expanded his coaching experience through local youth clubs and soccer camps. He also served as goalkeeper coach for the Washington Spirit of the NWSL during the club’s 2019 preseason.

Earlier in his career, Vandeveer served as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Norwich University in 2005. He also coached women’s lacrosse, recruited for the women’s soccer program, and worked as an admissions representative, recruiting both cadets and civilian student-athletes while training field players and goalkeepers.

As a goalkeeper at Norwich University, Vandeveer helped the program compile a 60-18-2 overall record and a 38-4-2 mark in conference play. He was part of three GNAC championship teams and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a run to the Sweet Sixteen. Individually, he earned All-New England Region honors, two First Team All-GNAC selections, and two Second Team All-GNAC selections. As a senior, he served as co-captain and was named team MVP.

Following his collegiate career, Vandeveer played professionally as a goalkeeper with Eintracht Bad Kreuznach in Germany.
