Kate Leavell

Kate grew up playing in the lacrosse hotbed of Severna Park, Maryland, and went on to become a USA National Coaches Education Trainer, Travel Club Coach, High School, and NCAA Coach. She was named the MSHSL Head Coach of the Year in Minnesota and has led high school programs across several states to final four tournament appearances. Most recently, she served on the coaching staff for the IMG Academy girls lacrosse team.
In addition to her coaching career, Kate is a champion of positive culture and a leadership consultant. She is a Wall Street Journal bestselling author and speaker who facilitates consulting for high school and collegiate athletic departments, corporations, and professional organizations, including the LPGA. She previously served as the VP of Leadership Development for the Jon Gordon Companies, delivering training to organizations worldwide.
Coach Leavell has three children who played lacrosse through the collegiate level, helping her embrace the full athlete experience as a former player, coach, parent, administrator, and leadership consultant. She is also our Director of Enrollment and Partnerships here at Xcelerate Lacrosse!
