Kevin Hill
Camp Director
Kevin Hill is the Head Coach at the University of Southern Maine's Men Volleyball.
The first official head coach in the history of the University of Southern Maine Men’s Volleyball Club program, Kevin Hill begins his 5th season as head coach entering the 2026–2027 season and his 9th season overall leading the program.
Hill founded the USM Men’s Volleyball Club in the fall of 2018 as an incoming first-year student and served as the team’s coach, captain, and club president throughout his four years at the University. During that time, Hill helped build the Huskies from a 2–10 inaugural season into a nationally competitive program. In 2022, USM made its first appearance at the NCVF Collegiate National Championships, finishing fifth overall in Division II AA after reaching the national quarterfinals.
Following his graduation from USM in 2022, Hill transitioned into the role of head coach full-time. Last season, Hill led the Huskies to a 20–2 overall record, an undefeated 16–0 mark in conference play, and the program’s first regional championship. The Huskies went on to compete at the 2026 NCVF Collegiate National Championships.
In addition to his role at USM, Hill serves as the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Southern Maine Community College. He took over the SMCC program ahead of the 2026 season after his time coaching the varsity volleyball team at York High School.
Outside of collegiate volleyball, Hill is a sixth-grade social studies teacher at Wells Junior High School.
