US Sports Camp Partners Dominating the Lacrosse Postseason
San Rafael, CA – As the 2024 lacrosse post-season unfolds, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our partners who have secured their spots in the NCAA and MCLA tournaments. It's a testament to each team’s exceptional talent, determination, and sportsmanship.
The NCAA and MCLA tournaments provide a platform for lacrosse teams across all divisions to showcase their dedication and sacrifice throughout the season. We are proud to support these athletes and coaches as they strive for excellence on and off the field.
In Division I men’s lacrosse, Sacred Heart University made program history by clinching their first conference title and securing their inaugural appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Their remarkable journey exemplifies the spirit of perseverance and achievement in collegiate sports.
Meanwhile, in Division II Men’s Lacrosse, Pace University, ranked #8 in the nation, displayed their prowess by reaching the 2024 NCAA quarterfinals. Their remarkable season demonstrates the team's commitment to excellence and competitive edge on the field.
Division II women’s lacrosse has a wealth of lacrosse talent within this year’s tournament pool, including Adelphi University, Pace University, and Regis University. Pace Women’s Lacrosse, ranked #1 in the nation, aims to defend their title as they compete for back-to-back national championship. The historic success of Adelphi is evident as they mark their 18th NCAA tournament appearance this year. Regis represents the West Coast in the tournament and have had their own success as they just earned their fifth straight RMAC title.
Turning to Division III, St. Mary’s College of Maryland and Roanoke College have made their mark in men’s lacrosse. St. Mary’s College clinched the United East Conference Championship, securing their third overall selection to the NCAA Tournament. This year, Roanoke College's appeared in its 15th NCAA postseason tournament under the leadership of head coach, Bill Pilat.
In Division III women’s lacrosse, Salisbury University won their fourth consecutive Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Championship this season. Roanoke College's women’s team secured an at-large bid into the tournament, setting the stage for an exciting tournament ahead.
Additionally, congratulations are in order for our partners in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA): Cal, UC Santa Barbara, and Virginia Tech. All three teams competed in the MCLA post-season tournament.
