Nike Basketball Camps
Work on your basketball skills during summer 2026 at Amherst College, led by Head Men's Basketball Coach Marlon Sears. This basketball camp is the perfect location to help you stay above the competition with specialty instruction, fun drills, scrimmages, and more!
The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing, or guard position.
*This camp must comply with the regulations of the MDPH & be licensed by the LBOH.

Head Coach Marlon Sears
Marlon Sears starts his fourth year and third season as head coach of the Amherst College men's basketball program in 2023-2024. In his two years at Amherst, Sears's basketball teams have reached the NESCAC Quarterfinals both years. He also coached Garrett Day '22 to a Second Team All-NESCAC selection.

ELITE SKILLS CLINIC HOURS
- All Campers Check-in: Sunday between 8:30AM-9AM
- All Campers Closing Ceremony: Sunday 1:30PM
- Meals: Lunch is included.
- Elite Skills Clinic Hours: SUN 9AM-2PM
COMPLETE SKILLS I, II, IV, & V CAMP HOURS (HALF-DAY & FULL-DAY)
- Check in: Monday at 8:30AM
- Meals: Half day campers will depart before lunch. Full day campers can bring a packed lunch or lunch can be purchased for $80 for Monday-Thursday at registration.
- Half-Day Hours: MON-THURS 9AM-12PM
- Full-Day Hours: MON-THURS 9AM-3PM
COMPLETE SKILLS CAMP III & VI CAMP HOURS (EXTENDED DAY & OVERNIGHT)
- All Campers Check-in: Sunday between 1pm-2pm
- All Campers Closing Ceremony: Thursday between 11:30am and 12pm
- Meals: All meals included for overnight campers. Lunch and dinner provided for extended day campers
OVERNIGHT CAMPERS
Campers will reside in the Residence Hall on campus. Roommate assignments are finalized the day prior to the first day of camp. We will do our best to accommodate roommate preferences but cannot guarantee them. You will be contacted in advance should we have any questions regarding roommate requests. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS
On the first day of camp, all extended day campers should arrive dressed and ready to play. Drop off and pick up locations will be given out at registration.
Sunday:
♦ Extended Day Campers stay until 8:30pm.
♦ Dinner is provided.
Monday-Wednesday:
♦ Extended Day Camper Hours are 9am-8:30pm.
♦ Lunch and dinner provided.
Thursday:
♦ Extended Day Camper Hours are 9am-12pm.
♦ Lunch is not provided.
♦ Check-out immediately follows closing ceremony.
Daily Schedule: SUN 2pm-8:30pm, MON-WED 9am-8:30pm, THURS 9am-12pm
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a sack lunch each day
- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Basketball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded
- Basketballs: Basketballs are provided for instruction during camp
INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion
- Facility: Indoor courts
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
Driving Directions
At the corner of Rte. 9 and Rte. 116, turn onto Rte. 116 South 2. Take the THIRD LEFT (counting the “Do Not Enter”) into the athletics complex 3. The athletics parking lot will be immediately on your right (along with Orr Rink). If there are no spaces available, try parking to your left in front of Alumni Gymnasium. If you still cannot find parking, go across the street and park along Hitchcock Road, which is directly across from the entrance to the athletics complex.

BASKETBALLS
Nike All Court Elite Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $35. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

PRE-CAMP CHECKLIST
To view your customer account, complete your mandatory forms, pay balance dues, and review important clinic information, visit Pre-Clinic Checklist. All necessary clinic information is on this page. If there are any imperative changes prior to clinic start, registered campers will be notified via email and this webpage will be updated!
PACKING LIST
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most clinics have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
COMPANY POLICIES
If you need to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid that is good through the following year for any sport and is transferable to any immediate family member. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in will not receive a voucher or refund. Cash refunds are given only if Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your balance due date.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the clinic to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from the clinic, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
