Join our exciting field hockey camp at Mount Holyoke College this summer! It's a great chance for campers to improve their skills in a fun and competitive setting. Athletes will get top-notch coaching from Head Field Hockey Coach, Andy Whitcomb.
This overnight field hockey camp in South Hadley is open to girls ages 10-18, no matter their skill level. Have a blast learning and practicing skills with different drills! Our Massachusetts camp is the perfect way to get ready for the upcoming season!

2026 OVERVIEW
- Dates: June 25-28
- Age Group: 10-18
- Gender: Girls
- Camp Types: Overnight & Extended Day (Commuter)
- Check-in: Overnight campers arrive at 1:00pm-2:00pm on Thursday, Extended Day campers arrive at 2:15pm on Thursday
- Check-out: Graduation takes place at 12:30pm on Sunday. Parents are invited to attend. Check out will take place immediately after.
- Extended Day (Commuter) Schedule: Day 1: 2:00pm-8:15pm, Day 2-3: 9:15am-8:15pm, Day 4: 9:15am-12:30pm
- Meals: All meals are provided for Overnight campers. Lunch and dinner are provided for all Extended Day (commuter) campers. Vegetarian entrees will be available at each meal. In addition, the College will accommodate requests for special diets for students with food allergies. Any special dietary needs at least 21 days prior to the start of camp.
- Program: This All Skills program is geared towards players of all abilities. The camp program includes stick work instruction & skills, technical & tactical training, offensive & defensive skills, and positioning work. Goalie-specific training is offered as well. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

HOUSING (2026)
The information below is subject to change each year.
- Dorms: TBD
- Number of Campers Per Room: 2 per room
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual and received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Bathrooms: Shared
- Linens: Not provided. Bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase and a towel
- Air Conditioning: No. A fan is strongly recommended.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning, afternoon, and evening training sessions
- Overnight campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
- Extended Day campers: Lunch and dinner are provided.
- Supervision: Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.
- Camp Gear: All campers receive a Nike Field Hockey Camp package (reversible jersey, ball, lanyard) and other fun prizes.
- Additional Activities: Mini-Olympics, pool, and weight room access.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Players are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director’s discretion.
- Equipment Needed: Hockey stick, water bottle, mouth guard, shin guards, court and turf shoes (goalies must bring full goalie protective equipment)
- Inclement Weather Plan: We will use an indoor facility.
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

"We are so excited to be hosting Nike Field Hockey Camp again this summer at Mount Holyoke College. This year will be particularly special as those campers will be the first to compete on our brand-new turf field. We have a wonderful staff who are eager to get the dust off their sticks, whistles ready, while getting back to hockey fundamentals and scrimmaging. Camp should be the best part of the summer as we will hone your skills but also provide balance and encourage fun and excitement with friends new and old. Night scrimmages under the lights and Mini-Olympics tend to be the favorites of camp and that will be a highlight for the coaching staff as well. TEAM DISCOUNT
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Field Hockey form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

SCHOLARSHIPS
We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.
Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender. This camp is in compliance with the MA BOH laws.
*This camp must comply with regulations of the MDPH & be licensed by the LBOH. Parents/guardians have the right to review background check, health care, discipline policies and grievance procedures upon request.

Mount Holyoke College, located in central Massachusetts in the beautiful Pioneer Valley, is 20 minutes from Amherst and Northampton. The campus is approximately 90 minutes west of Boston.

Learned a lot

Great for both daughters

This camp was the BEST!!
Ceci had a blast at Nike Field Hockey Camp at Mt Holyoke! She loved the coaching staff (very positive) and improved her field hockey skills during her 4 days at camp. On her first day, she realized her age group was still in the learning stages of field hockey and her coach allowed her to move up to the higher age group which proved to be an excellent move. Also, Ceci and her friends from home said the food was GREAT! Ceci has been to quite a few field hockey camps and she said the camp at Mt Holyoke was the BEST!! Thank you.

Makenna was awarded player of the week and very excited. This was her third year attending and we have been very happy with the program. We look forward to next years camp and the possibility of Mount Holyoke as a perspective college. The staff and Head coach are a great asset to the Nike program.

Camp was a blast!

Nike Field Hockey Camp at Mt. Holyoke is the best! It is a Field Hockey Camp. so come expecting to work hard and play hard, but if you do, you will be rewarded with new and better skills and lifelong friends. It's a great experience!
