Head Varsity Track & Field / Cross Country Coach Saidah Jones
Saidah Jones is the Head Varsity Track & Field Coach and Head Varsity Cross Country Coach at The Lovett School. A three-time All-American at the University of Tennessee and a 2000 Olympic Trials qualifier, Coach Jones brings elite experience and a strong passion for developing student-athletes.

- Full Day: 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday
- Half Day: 9:00am-12:00pm, Monday-Frida

- Lunch: Lunch is provided for the full day camp session (9:00am-3:00pm) and the fee is included in camp tuition cost. All campers should bring a filled water bottle each day.

CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

- 9:30-11:30 AM — Outdoor Performance Training Focus Areas: ● Explosiveness & vertical jump work ● Plyometrics and jump mechanics ● Dynamic movement & change-of-direction ● Speed development (acceleration, first step, lateral quickness) ● Agility circuits and reaction drills ● Mobility + injury-prevention training (ankles, knees, hips) ● Cool-down & recovery stretch
- 12:00-12:30 PM — Lunch Break ● Supervised lunch area ● Hydration + sunscreen reapply ● Light recovery/stretch option
1:00-3:00 PM — Basketball Skill + Recovery Block
- Basketball Skill Work (Gym) ● Dunk approach mechanics (age/skill appropriate) ● Explosive finishes at the rim ● Shooting stations (form work → game-speed reps) ● Ball-handling & dribble-attack work ● Small-sided games & competitive drills
- Strength, Recovery & Pool Time Rotating stations include: ● Strength training for vertical jump & power (hips/core/posterior chain) ● Mobility & stabilization for knee and ankle health ● Pool-based recovery, movement, and cooldown ● Guided stretching and soft-tissue work

The Lovett School is located on 100 acres on the banks of the Chattahoochee River in northwest Atlanta, Georgia.
