My kid had a great time swimming with new friends!

Coach Baker and Coach Richard, I wanted to send you a message to thank you for a great experience at Peak Performance Swim Camp! I gained valuable information that I will work on applying. I also wanted to thank you again for the really cool Olympic shirt! I made the state cut in the 100 fly with a time of 59:17. I will be attending the NYSPHSAA New York in two weeks. The tips that you gave for the 200 IM allowed me to cut 3 seconds off my time and place 3rd overall. Thanks again for your time and hope to see you in the future.

I just wanted to give you a quick update on my son’s progress since the Boston Clinic. He has really been working hard on the technical improvements that you suggested, and it seems to be showing up in his results. I recognize that dropping time isn’t necessarily the end goal at the moment, but I think it was very encouraging for my son to see some of his times improve. My son was very excited about how he swam at the last competition, and his confidence is growing. It is no coincidence that these results came right after his time spent with you…we cannot thank you enough.
  • Season 2015
My daughter attended the Boston clinic last weekend, and her coach told me he has already seen improvement in the few days since the clinic. Thank you! My daughter loved the clinic and she asked to come back to more PEAK clinics…before we had even left the Boston clinic! See you soon! :)

Once again, thank you so much for the wonderful time at your camp. Max was so happy when he returned home and has since improved in all of his times. He recently dropped 16 seconds in his 400 IM. It was a great pleasure to watch you and your staff in action.

Hi Coach Baker, Another well run camp and an action packed two days!... Leslie was thrilled to be able to attend and even more pleased to find Coach Tim in her corner again...it was just like picking up from where we left off last camp in Mount Kisco! The timing couldn't have been better as we had an A-Champs meet the following weekend in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario and Lilah P.B.'d in all but one of her events.(definitely in response to some of the critical technique refinements and enthusiasm she gained from her time in Baltimore). Our Nickel City Aquatics team ended up taking 1st place overall at that meet for the small teams category. We can't thank you and your team enough for the dedication and care you put into your camps. It's been an honor and privilege to have taken part in these. We hope to meet again someday soon.

Camp Details

Maximizing swimming potential through a holistic training approach is the mission of Peak Performance Swim Camp. To fulfill our mission, we seek to empower our swimmers through a two-tiered process of teaching and training. The teaching side includes daily chalk talks, video presentations, and ongoing poolside demonstrations. In addition, a targeted teaching strategy focused on swimmers’ individual needs is employed.

2026 OVERVIEW

  • Gender: Coed
  • Camp Type: Day Camp

  • Individual Medley Camp: For competitive swimmers ages 8-18. Our 2-day IM Camp covers the entire individual medley from the front start, the four strokes, the three IM turns, plus the ideal racing strategy. It’s the complete package over one weekend!!

Training and racing in the IM is a wise choice as it develops all four strokes and makes swimmers more versatile and competitive. Most people think of Michael Phelps as the King of Butterfly, but he’s also the only swimmer in history to win the 200 IM in four consecutive Olympics. Physical fitness plus the right technique can turbocharge your performance. If speed is what you seek, come to PEAK!

Created by Olympic Coach Nick Baker, the camp’s curriculum is second to none. Coach Baker has authored ten books on swimming and produced four swimming videos. The camp offers many unique features and is highly recommended for competitive swimmers ages 8-18.

Note: This is NOT a learn-to-swim program, but specifically designed for competitive swimmers who can perform multiple lengths of all four strokes and the official starts and turns. Swimmers are assigned to lanes based on ability level. The daily skill progressions and challenging swim sets are adjusted to reflect skill and performance levels.
