  • My daughter has done a lot of volleyball camps in recent years but this one was by far her favorite. She said the quality of the coaching was excellent. Various coaches took the time to work with her one-on-one to teach her new skills that she didn't already know. She was given time to practice through drills/reps and then apply what she learned in play. Even though this camps was just four days, she says it dramatically helped her improve her volleyball game while simultaneously was fun. The coaches were super friendly and nice. The balance of fun and improvement was perfect, she said.

at Nike Volleyball Camps

Kick off summer 2026 with our fun and energetic volleyball camp at Helix Charter High School! Designed for girls ages 10–17, this camp welcomes athletes from across Southern California who want to level up their game in a positive and engaging setting.

Under the guidance of Nike Camp Director Zoe Varela Beltz, players will learn key skills, practice new techniques, and gain confidence through focused instruction and exciting gameplay. Whether you're gearing up for the season or simply love the sport, this La Mesa volleyball camp is a great place to grow, compete, and make new friends this summer!

    Zoe Varela Beltz is the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Helix Charter High School.

    Zoe is in her second season as Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Helix Charter High School. In the 2022 season, Zoe was able to guide the team to second place in the State Playoffs for the Southern California DIII Section. For two years, she coached JV volleyball at Mt. Carmel High School and assisted the varsity team. Previously, she was a Varsity head coach at Scotts Valley High School, Varsity head coach at San Lorenzo Valley High School and JV head coach at Fremont High School.

    Zoe was raised in Santa Cruz, California and played for the City Beach Volleyball Club where she earned a 2nd place finish at the Junior National Tournament Open Division in 2004. She attended Presentation High School in San Jose, California where she earned first-team all-league honors for the West Coast Catholic League and was named Most Valuable Player for her team her Sophomore year. Zoe also competed in softball where she helped her club team to a first-place finish at the Western Nationals Tournament.

    She continued her volleyball career in Pocatello, Idaho for the Division I school, Idaho State University. After two productive seasons, Zoe chose to transfer to beautiful Point Loma Nazarene University. At PLNU, she continued to pursue volleyball and became a middle blocker/right side hitter for the Sea Lions. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a focus in English and has a masters in education.

    Zoe has been coaching girls volleyball for over ten years. She has coached all ages from 8-18 and has coached middle school, high school, and club volleyball. Zoe has served as a coach at the Marv Dunphy Camp at Pepperdine University where she worked with Olympic coaches and staff. She has coached for the Mountain View Volleyball Club (14s & 15s), Main Beach Volleyball Club (18s), Solana Beach Volleyball Club(13s & 14s), and Valley Style(16s).

    Zoe is passionate about teaching and coaching young players to reach their potential as athletes and young adults. She loves to watch players grow throughout their athletic careers and enjoys all aspects of coaching volleyball; from teaching the basics of passing and serving, to teaching the foundational skills to be successful at a highly competitive level. Zoe currently lives in Pacific Beach with her husband and two kids, Belen and Diego.

JUNE 29- JULY 3| JULY 6-10: ALL SKILLS CAMP
  • Open To: Girls, Ages 10-15
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
  • Check-in: 8:30am on Day 1
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Campers should bring their own lunch.
  • Program: Offers high-energy training focused on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Athletes will build a solid foundation and boost confidence in a positive, energetic environment.
JULY 13-17: ADVANCED CAMP
  • Open To: Girls, Ages 14-18 (Grades 9-12)
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
  • Check-in: 8:30am on Day 1
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Campers should bring their own lunch.
  • Program: Designed for high level athletes ready to push their game further through an intense, challenging program. Recommended for club players and high school with 2+ years of competitive experience.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Daily volleyball training
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
  • Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!
  • Facility: Indoor courts, Outdoor beach courts, Outdoor grass courts
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
  • Transportation: Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Volleyball form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

DAY CAMP SAMPLE SCHEDULE

9:00am Campers arrive, warm up

FAQ

  • Absolutely! Campers are encouraged to attend multiple sessions. Each program delivers something unique to help players excel in all areas of the game. Many campers will attend more than one session to further refine their skills, compete against new players, or choose a session with a different program focus.

  • If you need to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid that is good through the following year for any sport and is transferable to any immediate family member. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in will not receive a voucher or refund.

  • Yes! To save your spot at camp, a deposit is due at registration:

    • $150 for Day and Half Day camps
    • $300 for Overnight and Extended Day camps
    • Camps under $150 must be paid in full at registration.

    Your remaining balance is due on the 1st of the month before your camp begins:

    • June camps → due May 1
    • July camps → due June 1
    • August camps → due July 1

    Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days before camp will forfeit all fees paid and be removed from the camp.
