Join us this fall at Notre Dame High School for fun and learning on the court! Campers from the Bay Area and beyond will train with Nike Volleyball Camp Director, Yelena Skazka, while enjoying a supportive and exciting atmosphere.

Open to girls, ages 10-18, this Northern California volleyball camp is geared toward building confidence, improving skills, and making new friends. From fun drills to friendly games, every moment is designed to help you enjoy the sport you love. Don’t miss out in San Jose—sign up today!

    Yelena Skazka

    Camp Director

    Yelena Nash (née Skazka) is no stranger to hard work or long hours. Her dedication and inner drive have contributed to her success as a coach at the professional and collegiate levels, including UCLA, USC, CSUDH, and Stanford, as well as at the varsity high school and local club levels in Southern California. She has more than 20 years of coaching experience. Yelena is currently the owner of Sunny Ball NDE Volleyball Club. She also has five years of competitive international playing experience with clubs in Russia, Serbia, and Turkey, as well as experience competing in FIVB (Fédération Internationale de Volleyball) World Tournaments.

    Camp Director

    She earned her Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports from the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports in July 2008. During her time there, she competed on the Azerbaijan Women’s National Team as a spiker in both indoor and beach volleyball and served as captain of the Junior National Volleyball Team.

    Yelena was selected as a National Olympic Qualifier in 2003. She led the Azerbaijan Women’s National Team to first place in the Azerbaijan Beach Volleyball Championship in 2005 and again achieved first place at the World Championship in 2008.

    In 2015, Yelena assisted the Junior Olympics New Orleans team. In 2016, she helped coach teams that reached the CIF Championship (Division III) and CIF State Final (Division II), while also helping a team earn first place in the Del Rey League.

    Yelena is a member of the prestigious Gold Medal Squared organization for volleyball coaches. She also earned a Bachelor of Divinity from the Moscow Soul Academy and a Master of Science in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University in California.

    Currently, Yelena serves as the Athletic Director and Varsity Head Volleyball Coach at Notre Dame San Jose High School, where she supports student-athletes and contributes to the school’s Center for Women’s Leadership.

    Outside of athletics, Yelena is the proud mother of her six-year-old son, Titus.

    Originally from Los Angeles, California, JohnDiego White played volleyball at Venice High School and Santa Monica Volleyball Club before continuing his playing career at UC Santa Cruz, where he competed for four years.

Camp Details

NOVEMBER 23-25: ALL SKILLS CAMP

  • Open To: Girls, Ages 10-18
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
  • Check-In: 8:30am on Day 1
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Campers should bring their own lunch.
  • Program: Offers high-energy training focused on fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Athletes will build a solid foundation and boost confidence in a positive, energetic environment. Recommended for all positions and abilities. Campers may be grouped by age, skill, or experience at the Director’s discretion.

Please note: Camp schedules and details are subject to change. If important updates occur before camp begins, we’ll notify registered campers by email and update this webpage.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Daily volleyball training
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.
  • Volleyballs: Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp. Fun tip: Have your camp friends sign your ball before you leave!
  • Facility: Indoor courts
  • Medical Protocol: There will be no athletic trainer on-site. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
  • Transportation: Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Volleyball form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Campers will train on the indoor courts at Notre Dame High School in San Jose, California.

  • Address: 596 S Second St, San Jose, California 95112. The camp takes place at Notre Dame High School, a high school campus. Led by camp director Yelena Skazka. Popular with families from Morgan Hill, Fremont, Gilroy, Los Altos, and other nearby communities.

  • Sessions are $385 for a 3-day camp. A deposit secures your spot, with the balance due by the 1st day of the month prior to camp starting.

  • This camp is for athletes ages 10 to 18, girls only. All skill levels welcome. Campers may be grouped by age, skill, or experience.

  • One session: November 23 to November 25, 2026. Select the session above to register.

  • This is a day camp running 9 AM to 3 PM.

  • Yes! To save your spot at camp, a deposit is due at registration:

    • $100 for Day and Half Day camps

    • $200 for Overnight and Extended Day camps

    • Camps under $100 must be paid in full at registration.

    Your remaining balance is due on the 1st of the month before your camp begins:

    • June camps → due May 1

    • July camps → due June 1

    • August camps → due July 1

    Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days before camp will forfeit all fees paid and be removed from the camp.

  • For any on-site questions or concerns—such as group placement, details regarding the daily schedule, or your camper’s overall experience—please reach out directly to the onsite contact.

    You can find the onsite contact information in your Customer Portal by going to the “My Enrollments” tab and clicking the “Prepare for Camp Here” button. Please note that this information will be available at least two weeks prior to the start of camp.

  • Volleyballs will be distributed on the final day of camp at check-out. Please be sure to check in with your camp director before leaving to collect your ball.
