Nike Baseball Camps is thrilled to be back at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, GA for another great summer of baseball… Home of the Atlanta Braves Triple-A Affiliate the Gwinnett Stripers! The Stripers staff and players are ready to provide a great learning environment and give each camper the proper tools to excel at the next level.

Campers age 7-13 will have have the opportunity to learn how to approach the sport the right way as they fine-tune their fielding, hitting, base-running skills, and enhance their knowledge of the game, all while having an awesome time and making new friends.

      • 2024: Named the eighth manager in Gwinnett history on 1/25/24 ... Led the Stripers to a 72-78 record, T-11th in the International League ... His club finished among the league’s top 3 in Fielding Percentage (1st, .984), ERA (2nd, 4.33), and batting (3rd, .263) ... On 8/17, managed his 500th career MiLB game, a 7-5 win over Norfolk.
      • 2023: Debuted as a Double-A manager with Mississippi, going 62-75 ... Under his leadership, the M-Braves led the Southern League in lowest ERA (3.94) and finished second in both WHIP (1.36) and BAA (.236).

    • Winter Ball (Coaching): Has served as a game planning and third base coach for Idios de Mayaguez of the Puerto Rican Winter League since 2024-25 ... Club won the league championship in his first year.
    • 2022: Had an 18-game stint as Mississippi’s interim manager from 4/26-5/15 while Bruce Crabbe took a leave of absence ... Guided the club to a 10-8 record in that span.

Camp Details

Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

  • Camp Type: Day Camp
  • Schedule: Tuesday 9:00am-2:00pm, Wednesday-Thursday 9:00am-12:00pm, Gwinnett Stripers Game vs Louisville Bats on Sunday, June 21st at 1:05pm
  • Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
  • Meals: Lunch is not provided. Campers will need to bring a packed lunch on Tuesday.

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

  • Facility: Outdoor Fields. An indoor batting cage will be used for inclement weather.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.

  • Nike Baseball Camp at Coolray Field, directed by Gwinnett Stripers takes place at Coolray Field, a sports facility located at - 2500 Buford Dr, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043.   • Sessions are $325 for a 3-day camp. A deposit secures your spot, with the balance due before camp starts.
