ABOUT INDIE CHICAS FC

Indie Chicas FC is an Idaho‑based nonprofit, all‑girls soccer club dedicated to empowering young women through intentional, development‑focused soccer experiences. Built specifically for girls, the club exists to help players grow not only as athletes, but as confident, creative, and resilient young people, on and off the field.

Indie Chicas was founded on the belief that girls thrive when they train and compete in an environment designed for them. As the only all‑female soccer club in the Treasure Valley, Indie Chicas creates a strong sense of belonging, giving players a space where they are encouraged to be brave, expressive, and fully themselves.

The club offers a complete developmental pathway from early childhood through high school, with programming tailored to each stage of growth. From Her Start (ages 4–8), which introduces young players to the game through fun, confidence‑building activities, to competitive youth and club teams (ages 8–18) that emphasize technical skill, decision‑making, creativity, and tactical understanding, each phase is intentionally designed to meet the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of growing female athletes. Older players are supported as they showcase their abilities and discover their individual potential on and off the field.

Indie Chicas is led by former collegiate coaches and professional players, including multiple former NCAA Division I head and assistant coaches. This experienced staff understands both the demands of high‑level soccer and the importance of long‑term development, prioritizing growth, learning, and confidence over short‑term results.

Beyond soccer skills, Indie Chicas places a strong emphasis on confidence, resilience, leadership, and joy. Training sessions encourage players to solve problems, take risks, learn from mistakes, and support one another. The club also partners with local medical professionals to provide injury‑prevention programming and complimentary screenings, helping ensure each player’s health and well‑being are a priority.

At its core, Indie Chicas exists to keep girls in the game, helping them fall in love with soccer, believe in themselves, and carry those lessons into every part of their lives. Whatever path each player chooses, the goal is that she leaves stronger, more confident, and proud to be an Indie Chica.
