Luke Sheekey, Head Men's Soccer Coach at Eckerd College, is excited to host another summer camp season at the beautiful Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg, FL. Campers will focus on all aspects of the game including refining fundamental skills and positional work through challenging exercises and scrimmages. This camp with the Eckerd College Soccer coaching staff is the ideal camp for players of all ages and skill levels, with a low coach to camper ratio each player will have the opportunity to enjoy an action-packed week in a beautiful location.
The camp offers technical training, small-sided games, mini competitions, and a multi-team world-cup tournament creating a competitive & fun environment. Campers also have access to the amazing facilities at Admiral Farragut Academy, including pristine field conditions, a pool to cool off in, plenty of shaded areas, and indoor facilities.

Luke Skeekey '10 joined his alma mater in August 2022 as the interim head women's soccer coach and was named the head coach in January 2023. He enters his second season with the Tritons in 2023.

- Day Camp Hours: 9am-4pm*
- Half-Day Camp Hours: 9am-12pm*
- Gender: *Coed (Camp will now be coed, but swimming and certain drills will still be gender specific)
- Check-In: 8:30am on Monday
- Check-Out: Tournament play will take place on Friday from 1:30-3:30pm at the field. Parents are invited to attend. Check-out will be at 4:00pm for full day campers.

Nike Soccer Camps provide a fun and challenging environment where players are grouped by age and ability to maximize development. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, campers sharpen their technical skills through focused training, small-sided games, and dynamic drills—building confidence and a passion for the game along the way.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
- Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, swimwear, and a water bottle.
- Facility: Admiral Farragut Academy Soccer Field
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

SOCCER BALLS
Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 3, 4 or 5 ball, which will be shipped out once the order has processed. Shipping is included in the listed price. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction. All sales are final.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

The Coaches were so personable. They were engaged with Solomon as soon as he landed on the Field. Initially I met Coach Fletcher at the Check in Desk, He was very friendly and answered all my questions regarding the camp, the objectives,, and the Goal of the Camp. Then as we walked towards the soccer field, We met an array of polite and Energetc Soccer Coaches. They were approachable, very professional and fun.

This was Hannah’s first real exposure to the game of soccer. Aside from a small church league with minimal instruction, she’s never played true soccer. She learned so much and gained much confidence. She’s ready to join a league ASAP!! Thanks so much!!

Excited to go every day
We really enjoyed how motivating the camp was. Summers in Florida are miserable with the heat but the coaches did a great job to plan the length of activities and know when to take breaks, grab shade and explore other activities that allowed the campers to not wear out in the heat. Sean was excited to go every day. He enjoyed being able to work on foot skills and goalie skills at the same camp. And the Director was outstanding. Check in everyday was super motivating and we felt valued coming back each day. We will be back!

Coach John is incredible
John has had an amazing time every year with this camp. He attended 2 years ago for two sessions and was excited to attend twice this year and even had his younger sister Alex join. I normally stay and watch most days and can see the improvement of not just my kids but every camper that puts in the effort. Coach John is incredible. He is a great motivator and selected a talented staff that brings this camp to another level. My son is not the most skilled soccer player but every year he improves and comes home excited to go back the next day. He even wants to cancel a camp so he can come back for a third week. I highly recommend this camp to everyone. If your son or daughter is highly skilled or just want to have fun and improve their skills they will not be disappointed. Both of my kids wish they had sessions every week of the summer.

Improved his skills and had fun
Ruger really enjoyed his time at camp. He improved his skills a lot and he had a ton of fun doing it!! Will definitely do it again next year. Everyone was amazing and helpful.

Player of the week
John was the youngest and has only been playing soccer for a year. This was John's first camp and we are already signed up for the next camp at the end of July. The coaches were amazing. Coach John and Coach Pablo did a great job focusing on every child and the training John received has allowed him to improve in all areas. John was given the camper of the week award which made his day. This camp made such a difference in his commitment to improving at soccer. I plan on having several of his teammates from Northeast Soccer in St Pete to register for the July session. I hope that Nike continues to support this program and I would love if they had a few more sessions over the summer. Thank you!
