Open to boys and girls ages 6–14, this coed camp is designed for all skill levels, whether your child is brand‑new to the game or looking to take their skills to the next level.

Led by Head Women’s Coach Brittany Nikolic and Head Men’s Coach Jason Zitzke, campers will train with UW‑Parkside’s top‑tier coaching staff and college players, known for their energy, expertise, and passion for helping young athletes grow. Hosted on the beautiful UW‑Parkside campus, this camp delivers the perfect blend of high‑level instruction, age‑appropriate challenges, and nonstop fun. Players will sharpen their technique, build confidence, and enjoy an inspiring environment where teamwork, encouragement, and love for the game come first.

    Brittany Nikolic is a nationally respected player‑development specialist with more than a decade of collegiate coaching experience, known for elevating athletes and building high‑performing soccer programs. Her coaching career is defined by a proven ability to grow players technically, tactically, and mentally while fostering a positive, competitive, and team‑centered environment.

    Women's Soccer Head Coach - UW Parkside

    A former standout at Stanford University, Nikolic competed in four NCAA Tournaments, captured a Pac‑10 Championship, and earned multiple All‑Pac‑10 honors, experiences that shaped her deep understanding of high‑level player development.

    Before leading the UW‑Parkside Women’s Soccer program, Nikolic coached at Northwestern, UNLV, and Milwaukee, contributing to conference championships, NCAA Tournament appearances, and the development of numerous all‑conference athletes. She later transformed the program at Alverno College, where she became the school’s all‑time winningest coach.

    At Parkside, Nikolic has guided her teams to postseason berths, developed multiple All‑GLIAC performers, and maintained one of the strongest academic cultures on campus. Her approach blends tactical intelligence, technical growth, and character development—ensuring players succeed both on and off the field.

    Jason Zitzke is a proven player‑development leader with more than 20 years of collegiate coaching experience, known for building competitive, disciplined, and attack‑minded teams at UW‑Parkside. His approach blends technical growth, tactical maturity, and character development, helping athletes reach their highest potential on and off the field.

    Men's Soccer Head Coach - UW Parkside

    A UW‑Parkside Hall of Famer, Zitzke has been part of the program’s coaching staff since 1999 and took over as head coach in 2011. Under his leadership, Parkside has remained one of the region’s most respected and consistently successful men’s soccer programs. He guided the Rangers to one of the most historic seasons in school history, capturing both the GLIAC regular‑season and tournament championships, earning an NCAA Tournament berth, and being named GLIAC Coach of the Year. His teams have continued to secure NCAA appearances, conference titles, and recognition for their competitive identity.

    Before his coaching career, Zitzke was one of Parkside’s most accomplished players—earning three All‑Region selections, Second Team All‑American honors, and becoming the only athlete in program history drafted into two professional leagues. He later earned a championship ring with the Milwaukee Wave, bringing valuable professional experience and insight back to his coaching.

    Zitzke’s coaching is defined by development, discipline, and creative attacking play, consistently producing All‑GLIAC performers and teams known for their strong culture and tactical clarity.

    Families can expect a coach who brings elite playing experience, championship‑caliber coaching, and a deep commitment to helping every young athlete grow as a player and a person.

WHO IS THIS CAMP FOR?

This camp is built for elementary and middle school boys and girls who are excited to learn, grow, and enjoy the game of soccer in a fun, supportive environment. Welcoming players of varying experience levels, the camp emphasizes technical development, game understanding, and confidence‑building through engaging, age‑appropriate activities, with training sessions tailored to each camper’s age and ability to ensure the right balance of challenge and support. Led by experienced college coaches and players, the camp combines professional instruction with an encouraging, high‑energy atmosphere where learning feels fun, while also reinforcing the values of teamwork, respect, and effort both on and off the field, making it an excellent fit for families seeking a positive experience that balances skill development, personal growth, and a genuine love for the game.

SUPERVISION, MEDICAL PROTOCOL & TRANSPORTATION

Campers are supervised throughout the camp day by trained staff members who are strategically positioned to ensure a safe and positive experience. Coaches and staff actively participate in all activities and monitor campers during training sessions, breaks, and downtime.

Most camps have an athletic trainer on site to assist with illness or injury. In the event of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital and parents will be contacted immediately.

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for arriving at camp on their own and being picked up promptly at the end of each day. Please note that supervision is only provided during official camp hours, so early drop‑off or late pick‑up is not permitted.
