Maximizing swimming potential through a holistic training approach is the mission of Peak Performance Swim Camp. To fulfill our mission, we seek to empower our swimmers through a two-tiered process of teaching and training. The teaching side includes daily chalk talks, video presentations, and ongoing poolside demonstrations. In addition, a targeted teaching strategy focused on swimmers’ individual needs is employed.
2026 OVERVIEW
- Dates: January 17-18
- Age Group: 8-18
- Gender: Coed
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: 9:00am-3:00pm, Saturday-Sunday
- Check-In: 8:30am on Saturday. Camp check-in will take place in the foyer of the pool facility. Please park across the street in the Ivy Lot (adjacent to the outdoor tennis courts) and enter the PLU Pool via the front street entrance.
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
- Individual Medley Camp: For competitive swimmers ages 8-18. Our 2-day IM Camp covers the entire individual medley from the front start, the four strokes, the three IM turns, plus the ideal racing strategy. It’s the complete package over one weekend!
Training and racing in the IM is a wise choice as it develops all four strokes and makes swimmers more versatile and competitive. Most people think of Michael Phelps as the King of Butterfly, but he’s also the only swimmer in history to win the 200 IM in four consecutive Olympics. Physical fitness plus the right technique can turbocharge your performance. If speed is what you seek, come to PEAK!
Created by Olympic Coach Nick Baker, the camp’s curriculum is second to none. Coach Baker has authored ten books on swimming and produced four swimming videos. The camp offers many unique features and is highly recommended for competitive swimmers ages 8-18.
Note: This is NOT a learn-to-swim program, but specifically designed for competitive swimmers who can perform multiple lengths of all four strokes and the official starts and turns. Swimmers are assigned to lanes based on ability level. The daily skill progressions and challenging swim sets are adjusted to reflect skill and performance levels.
