Join us on December 21st for the a Nike Softball Skills Clinic with the Shipman Family. Our latest softball clinic will bring together athletes in 8th grade and below for an unforgettable day of learning from one of the most respected softball families in the game. The camp focuses on catching, hitting, and defensive fundamentals, led by Ally Shipman, Madison Shipman, and Bill Shipman.
Ally Shipman, a standout All-American catcher at the University of Alabama and current professional with the AUSL, will work hands-on with catchers to develop advanced receiving, blocking, and throw-down techniques. She emphasizes the importance of leadership behind the plate and provides players with valuable insight into the mental aspects of catching and hitting.
Madison Shipman, former All-American shortstop at the University of Tennessee and professional player in the NPF, will lead infield sessions focusing on footwork, quick hands, and game awareness. She also works with hitters, sharing swing mechanics and drills designed to build consistency and power at the plate. Additionally, Madison is an analyst for ESPN and the Toronto Blue Jays. She works studio and radio for the Blue Jays, and she commentates for ESPN softball during the season as well.
Bill Shipman, a Division I softball coach at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, provides instruction on defensive strategy, outfield work, and situational play. His experience and teaching style give players a deeper understanding of how individual skills translate into team success.
