Nike Softball Camps is looking forward to a great summer at University of La Verne! Directing camp will be La Verne Softball Coach Sydney Rasmussen. Each day will be filled with softball drills that cover hitting, fielding, base running, and team play to help each camper take their game to the next level!
Nike Softball Camps are a great opportunity for young athletes to make new friends while playing the game they love!

Camp Director - Assistant Coach, University of La Verne Sydney Rasmussen
Coach Rasmussen enters her first year as an assistant coach at the University of La Verne. A 2019 Graduate, four-year starter at Sacramento State, Coach Razz helped lead her team to the So Cal regional in 2018.

Head Softball Coach, University of La Verne Danielle Kaminaka
Danielle Kaminaka joined the University of La Verne as head softball coach in August 2024. Kaminaka brings to La Verne 17 years of collegiate coaching experience. She joined the Leopards after 11 seasons at NCAA Division I Sacramento State as an assistant coach, the last two as the program’s associate head coach.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, specific position fielding, base-running, and game situations. In addition, pitchers will have the opportunity to work with pitching instructors. You can expect high demand on these first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

- Gender: Girls
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-12:30pm
- Check-In: 30 minutes prior to camp start time
- Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a sack lunch to camp each day.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Daily Softball Instruction
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.
- Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.
Please use the softball field parking lot for all parking. Check-in will be set up just inside the walk-in gate—look for our table. We’ll also have plenty of water available to keep the campers hydrated throughout the day.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
