Directed by Cal Berkeley Tennis Coaches, including Kris Kwinta, our junior tennis camp provides expert instruction and a supportive environment to help you elevate your game. Don’t miss out—join the fun and improve your skills this summer!
All Cal Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you choose a camp that fits your level of development. All events are subject to change based on NCAA restrictions. Due to high demand and limited capacity, prices are subject to increase as camp exceeds 25%/50%/75% capacity.

Kris Kwinta joined the Cal Athletics family in the fall of 2021, when he was named the Peter Wright Director of Men's Tennis as the head coach of the California men’s tennis program.

CAMP PROGRAM INFORMATION
- Jr. Camp - All Skills: Designed for tennis players of all skill levels and backgrounds. Instruction will be based around improving physical fundamentals including strokes, footwork, physical fitness and conditioning, anticipation, serving, volleying, spins, and more. The level of play will vary by each assembled group.
- High School: Designed for players who are entering high school or are already in high school and are trying out or are already on their high school team and are looking to improve. Camp provides instruction for improving both physical and mental fundamentals. There is a heavy focus on conditioning, improving strokes and increasing confidence in both singles and doubles. This program’s training style is formulated around high school tennis athlete attributes.
- Skills: Both Jr. Camp - All Skills and High School will have players of all ability levels ranging from beginner to more advanced and tournament level players.
- Ages: 8-18
- Hours: Full Day (9:00am-3:30pm)
- Gender: Coed
CAMP CHECK-IN/OUT
- Check-In: All campers check in on Monday at 8:30am at the Hellman Tennis Complex
- Check-out: All campers check out daily at 3:30pm.
DAILY CAMP SCHEDULE
- 8:30am-9:00am - Camp check-in & meeting at courts
- 9:00am - Warm up, stretching, footwork drills
- 9:30am - Tennis instruction (drills based on ability level)
- 11:30am - Point play with coaches
- 12:00pm - Lunch and rest
- 1:00pm - Warm up, demo with coaches
- 1:30pm - Tennis instruction (live ball and point play based on ability level)
- 3:00pm - Point play with coaches
- 3:30pm - Campers dismissed
MEALS
- Campers bring their own lunch each day, meals are NOT included in the camp tuition cost
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: 5-6 of daily tennis training, morning and afternoon sessions
- Supervision: Staff members participate in all activities
- Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Cal Camps t-shirt
EQUIPMENT, FACILITY & MORE
- Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a tennis racquet, tennis shoes, and a water bottle
- Facility: Campers will play at The Hellman Tennis Complex on 6 outdoor hard courts.
- Inclement Weather Plan: In case of rain campers will move into the club area for video analysis.
- Medical Protocol: In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- If you need to cancel for any reason up to 24 hours before camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for the tuition fees paid, valid for one year for any sport and transferable to any immediate family member. Please note that participants who do not attend their registered session (no-shows) or fail to notify USSC at least 24 hours prior to check-in will not receive a voucher or refund.
- Refunds are available only if the Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your payment due date (1st of the month prior to your camp start date).

ACCOMMODATIONS & TRAVEL
- This is a Day Camp only; housing is NOT included in the camp tuition. Campers are responsible for arranging their own overnight accommodations if needed.
- Nike Tennis Camp does not provide any transportation to/from camp from the airport, train stations, or bus depots.
- US Sports Camps, the Camp Director, camp staff, and the host facility are not liable for any travel-related arrangements, including but not limited to flights, hotels, Airbnbs, or rental cars.
- We recommend booking refundable or flexible travel and accommodation options in case of any changes to the camp schedule.
